Hey, guys.  I've been through a long week.  You know how it is.  My girlfriend broke up with me, I've been having trouble in the school setting, one of my best friends suddenly left for parts unknown, I was assaulted by a plague of locusts, I was forced into using my godlike powers to place a curse upon the Hatain mountain people, I was pressured into dealing with yet another Hutu uprising, and I've been feeling like I've been hit by a brick repeatedly. :Dude&mdash;need-to-rant (/dump/vent) is a basic human necessity. I find it interesting that you're going through crap and yet joke about it (I was seriously concerned about those poor Hatainians). For what it's worth, none of your three problems are permanent (though they can't be neutralized quickly or easily). But time does a lot&mdash;more than you'd think. I'm a student teacher at a high school and middle school, and I swear I watch the middle schoolers oscillate from the height of melodramatic (but nonetheless real) tragedy to bouncing off the walls ''over the course of a day''!! And though the high-schoolers are less bipolar, the miscellaneous junk in people's lives tends to be different each week. Anybody ever wonder what a 20x6 version of Homsar would look like?  I do.  If anyone has any random ideas or sketches, you know what to do.

:A. He looks precisely the same.  Homsar is Homsar.  Why mess with perfection?  His own illogic would cause him to be uneffected by a time switch.

That would be awesome, wouldn't it?  The villian thing, I mean.  I think that he'd be a really bizarre villain. I'll give a dollar to anyone who can prove that the theory of evolution is completely wrong and can list at least ten reasons-supported by scientific evidence-of why Creationism is to be believed in instead of evolution.  I'll also give an extra dollar to anyone who can prove that I'm not a magical flying grapefruit.

NOTE: I'm not insulting people who support Creationism here, so don't be offended.  I'm not against god, either.  I'm just curious about what evidence supports the opinion that we were created the way we are instead of evolving into our current physical form.  Anyone have any ideas, proof, of theories? My girlfriend wrote me this morning and said that she wanted to get back together again!  I've been hovering about thirty feet above the ground all day. Easy. Just follow steps 5-8 of the [[Help:Signature|Signature Help]] page I linked above. I have copied the relevant information here:

If you notice on your toolbar above your edit window you'll see the next to last button looks like a signature thingy, just click on it and it will place  text <code><nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki></code> for ya (it may leave out the dashes. I don't have a sig so I don't know). When you hit preview you'll see that it'll replace the <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> with your sig and timestamp (like in the example above). Hit save and the editor will paste your signature directly.  You probably already know all this as you have been including your timestamp in your sigs. :Was it your userpage where you were testing it?  Did you try a different page?  By default, MediaWiki will disable links to their own pages, and as a result when sigs are placed in your own user page they will appear unlinked and bolded.  That is normal. I had a great holiday myself. On christmas i got me a $500 watch (pretty impresive), four xbox games: Lord of rings: the third age, robots, timesplitters 2 and the fantastic four. On new years eve, my family and me went to our relatives place and had barbecue(yum), the adults were talking amongst themselves while me and my brother were watching police academy 1,2 and 3 on the home theater system. almost like a cinema. Tian was blessed, though few farmers would have used that phrase to describe it, with three tracts of land: River Field, where his family had grown rice for many long generations; Roadside Field, where ka-Jeffords had grown sharproot and pumpkin for those same long generations; and Son of a B****, a useless tract of land that grew only rocks, blisters, and busted hopes.

That was the first line from Stephen King's The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla.  That's one of my favorite opening lines to a book ever.  It doesn't have anything to do with your inquiry, but I just wanted to write it down anyway because its interesting.

My summer was cool.  I did too many things to put down.  I went to Cape Cod, Canada, and Neuconsin.  Neuconsin was my favorite.  They gave out free marshmallows.  I also got to fence with Marshie.

Some of the morally bad games are indeed sickening and disgusting.  SOme of them, however, and actually considered bad because you ''can'' do things that are morally bad, not because you ''have'' to do things that are really bad.  Plus, there are legal consequences for that, like being arrested by the police.  There's a difference there.  For instance, the game San Andreas, though I've never played it myself, is supposed to actualy be about a guy who'se trying to clean up the streets by getting rid of drugs and corruption that is framed by crooked cops for the murder of his murder and is trying to both prove his innocence and straighten out the legal status of the city, albiet in a vigilante style.  You ''can'' go around mowing down innocent people, but you're not ''supposed'' to.  I don't think it's right to have that kind of option in a game, but it's there nonetheless.  Despite that, I kind of want to check it out.  I don't want to just go around killing people all the time.  I just want to check it out because of the new things I've heard about it (relationships, eating, exarcising, kung-foo fighting, spray painting, making friends, hiking in the woods, hunting animals, sleeping, that sort of thing) because they sound cool.<br/>
In fact, many of the games that are considered bad, such as Fable, are only considered bad because of the option to do such things, not because doing bad things is the objective.  There's a diference there.  I'm not saying that all games that considered morally wrong are good.  Far from it.  For instance, the earlier games in the GTA series involve a mob "enforcer" who goes around killing gang members under orders from a central syndicate.  The player is ''supposed'' to murder rival gang members and kidnap other people instead of simply having the ''option'' to do such.  There's a difference there.  That sort of game is morally wrong and teaches the wrong things to young kids.  That's why no one under the age of at least fifteen should be able to play those games.  They're just too impressionable.  Over that age, people realize that they are just doing those things in a game and that real life isn't anything like that.  Younger kids may not realize that.  They may think that it's okay to do those things in real life because the game ''must'' be true (it was made by grownups, wasnt it?) and that they can do these things.  That's what's bad.  In San Andreas your goal is to clean up the streets, not put them under the control of a single corrupt authority like in Vice City or GTA 3.  That's what makes those games different.

I understand your point of view.  It isn't very good to expose kids to themes as controversial as the ones that are in those games.  I believe that the amount of violence that are in those games should be cut down at least a little bit if they are going to be intended for an audience that is of a younger age group.  Games that focus on innapropriate behavior and encourage the player to indulge in it, as well as showing that behavior graphically, shouldn't be on the market in such availability to minors. Hello right back.  I was just in my school's production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, staarring as Mike Teavee.  It was a lot of fun.  I just came home from my final performance.  It was wierd.  Everyone I saw was saying "Good job."  It felt really cool.  I'm getting my own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Tuesday.  Well, not really, but that's what it feels like, and that feels a pretty-pretty good!

I've been busy with school and school related stuff, mostly.  It's been hectic.  I haven't really been on in quite a while.  Good job with your school stuff.  Do you live in England?  I'm only asking because Americans say "Math," while most English tend to say "Maths."  Just curious.

Nope, i live in Australia. we smply say on our school timetables, in my school: "maths". or Mathematics, but mostly maths because its short.

I am 45% on my way to death, thanks to a vigorous bout of rock climbing and the subsequent plunging that it incurred.  I would be around 98% through the doorway to death's other ingdom, but Red Bull was present at the climb site.  Blessed are the gods who hath chosen to shower upon us the miracle drug of caffiene and floor mates upon which we can land when our steps falter and our belay lines snap.
