*[[Wikipedia:Canon (fiction)|Canon]] refers to a collection of fictional events that create a ficticious universe, such as the Marvel Universe or the Star Wars galaxy.  Some fan communities take canon very seriously and try to fit every piece of fiction about said universe seamlessly together, although contradictions and loopholes are common. 
*[[Wikipedia:Scantron|Scantrons]] are a type of fill-in-the-bubble test sheet that are commonly used in high schools and middle schools.

*Cheerleader remarks that school pictures were scheduled on "tape-a-dead-thing-to-your-face day", but Cheerladder and Cheerlubber did not have anything taped to their faces. This may be a reference to a type of senior prank, in which group of people tell another person to do or wear something unusual the next day in honor of a strange holiday, in this case being tape-a-dead-thing-to-your-face day. but only that person does it.
*This is the second Teen Girl Squad in a row in which What's her face "'spose's" she'll do something.
*Cheerleader's gym shirt has "Growlback's Phys. Ed." written on it. Given that the team is called the "Growlbacks", the apostrophe should be after the S if it's referring to the team.
*The Strong Badman comic is labeled as the 87th issue, even though there already was an [[:Image:EnterTooSoonMan.png|issue 87]] featuring "Hit-Enter-Too-Soon Man".
*When So and So puts on the "armor", the number 2 pencil goes on her [[Left handedness|left hand]].

*Right before the credits move up, they start to move down for a single frame.
*"Come uppence" is correctly spelled comeuppance.
*"MimeogWrath" refers to a copy created by a [[Wikipedia:Mimeograph_machine|Mimeograph]] machine, but the paper was created by a "[[Wikipedia:Spirit_duplicator|Ditto]]" machine (as stated by the teacher and printed on the paper itself).  The two machines create copies by entirely different processes but are often [[Wikipedia:Spirit_duplicator#Smell|confused]].

**Or it refers to basically every romantic comedy where there's a cool guy/girl paired with a unpopular guy/girl and the cool one realizes they should have been with the unpopular one all along.
*Strong Bad's line about the parking lot is a reference to the ending of ''[[Wikipedia:The Breakfast Club|The Breakfast Club]]''.
*The name of the end credit song performer (Tite Rolled) is a reference to a clothing trend called 'Tight Rolling' which was popular during the late '80s - early '90s. It consisted of rolling the bottom of jeans and cuffing them up to make a tight roll that shortens the jeans and shows off fancy high-top shoes that would not have been seen otherwise.

==YouTube Version==
*In the YouTube version of the comic, uploaded on 3 September 2009, a glitch exists during the P.E. exam. When The Ugly One blatantly lies about washing her gym uniform, the word "ever" is cut off; What's Her Face adds "-ry day!" much more quickly afterwards. 
*There is also a slight pause before Strong Bad starts singing "It's over".
