From January 13, 2018 ([[Trogday (holiday)|Trogday]]) until December 31, 2020 (when [[Post-Flash Site Update|the updated site was launched]]), there was an '''HTML footer''' below the [[Flash]] window on the '''[[index page]]'''. This text was updated frequently, usually to announce new projects and discuss the future of [[homestarrunner.com]]. It mentioned such things as the homestarrunnerdotcom [[YouTube]] channel, the HTML version of [[TROGDOR!]], [[the Brothers Chaps]]' [[Pax East - 8 Apr 2018|panel at PAX East]], [[Trogdor!! The Board Game]] and its [[Trogdor!! The Board Game Rulebook EP|rulebook EP]], the [[Store]], [[Stinkoman 20X6]] [[Stinkoman 20X6 Walkthrough Level 10|Level 10]], and Fangamer products. At the bottom, it allowed readers to sign up for [[the Deleteheads Download]] mailing list, with an image of [[Appearances By All 12 Main Characters|all twelve]] [[Characters#Main characters|main characters]] below. When the index page was updated to HTML at the end of 2020, it was replaced with the [[index page messages]].
