*Bubs's "shut up" line is aimed at Soos's abuelita (Spanish for grandmother). This was a character in ''[[Wikipedia:Gravity Falls|Gravity Falls]]'' voiced by [[Matt Chapman]].
*Strong Bad's "How's Annie?" line references the ending of the season 2 finale of ''[[Twin Peaks]]''. Homsar's following cut scene presents him in the show's infamous Black Lodge and dressed as The Man From Another Place, who speaks in the same backwards style throughout the series. Strong Bad's line "Everybody say 'Smiling bag!'" is also a reference to the show; one of The Giant's clues to Agent Cooper is "There is a man in a smiling bag." Jacques Renault, whom Strong Mad names, is a character from this show.
*The "German kid" the King of Town refers to in Pom Pom's Easter egg is Augustus Gloop, another character from [[Wikipedia:Charlie and the Chocolate Factory|Charlie and the Chocolate Factory]]. He is an obsessive eater, much like the King of Town. He wound up falling into a literal river of chocolate and drawn into a pipe leading to a fudge processor. 
*Strong Sad thoroughly explains that everyone had the gold tooth at one point.  In [[wikipedia:Murder on the Orient Express|Murder on the Orient Express]] by Agatha Christie, Hercule Poirot makes a similar deduction that all the passengers on the train are related to the murder case.
*Coach Z's Easter egg invokes the catchphrase of Parappa the Rapper ("I gotta believe"), the basis of his costume. He follows this by referencing the first stage of the original ''Parappa the Rapper'' game, in which the titular character must perform and simultaneously vocalize a series of karate moves. He also echoes the introduction given by the character Chop Chop Master Onion ("Kick, punch, it’s all in the mind!").
