:Yeah, totally. It's the main focus of it, even. The toon is named for it. It's the key character. It totally deserves a page. --DorianGray

::Dear Lord, don't give the freakin' bug it's own article! It's just a bug, the Winnie the Pooh thing is invaluable info and need I stress it's only a freakin' bug! So lose it!

-
::Actually, the bug isn't a character so much as a plot device. While I don't object to this article staying around, it is kinda unnecessary. 22:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

:::Well, now we've just got another ugly fanon on the "wiki." Where on the site is it called The Bug, since when does everything on Homestar have the definite article, and why is this article even on here? This is becoming more of a regular, old fan site than a knowledge base.

::::Darth Katana X, I'm confused about your argument. You say this is turning into a "regular, old fan site", but I don't see how that helps defend your assertion. This article doesn't make us any less of a wiki. I don't care what we do with this article (although I don't see what it's hurting), but if you want to have a good argument, you're going to need some good reasoning behind it. 12:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

:::::I don't really care too much about this article either and am neutral; though I don't really see any good reason to keep it, other than that it would be expanding the wiki, I don't really see any good reason to have it deleted. It is a good article, as far as short articles go. But even though the toon is named after the bug, I don't think of it as an integral part of the toon. Just stating my opinions. Like I said on some talk page long before this, you guys can fight it out on your own. 13:45, 15 March 2006 (UTC) (Oh, and by the way, Darth Katana, "invaluable" means the same thing as "valuable". Yeah, English is weird).

-
::::::Ah, sorry. All right, this article is not valuable. And I need good reasoning behind it? I do have good freakin' reasoning behind it! And I've already laid it down like this: you guys are making up crap to expand the database! Like the caption, "The Bug flies around," as if the Chaps made it where the "character" has the definite article in its name! It's just a fly! What, are you gonna give the Ab-Abber 2000 a page? Whoops, spoke too soon. Anyway, all you're gonna do is alienate Homestar fans looking for the facts. What is it doing for the site that's valuable? Nothing! It's doing nothing besides slowing down the site and flushing it down the crapper! Take it down now.

:::::::Oh snapz.... ok, um, I vote, uh, down, now... for the bug... 05:27, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

-
::::::Ab-Abber 2000 the article! Ab-Abber 2000 the article! Ab-Abber 2000 the article!

-
:::::::Firstly, don't forget to sign your edits.  Secondly, whether the Ab-Abber 2000 deserves its own article is a discussion for that article's talk page; this article's worthiness should be based on its own merits.  And on those merits, it is extremely lacking.  Delete --Big Dog 19:21, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

-
::::::::Hmm, restarting two-year-old discussions, eh? I don't see any reason to delete this. It's a bit short, sure, but the Bug is central to the toon in which it appears, and thus is worth an article. 20:57, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

-
:::::::::I stand what I said previously: The Bug is a key character in its toon. Without The Bug, there is no toon. And its even named in the title. --DorianGray 21:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

-
::::::::::Just stating. Consensus seems to be keep. Only contrary argument fails to be cogent. 23:07, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Do we really need a "The"?  Can't we just name it "A Bug" since that's what Homestar called it, like, 5 times? Bad Bad Guy 03:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

-
:I really don't like the sound of "A Bug". It doesn't seem like a good article title. How about — if anything — just decapping the word "bug", so it seems like less of a proper name? --DorianGray 04:32, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

::I don't really see why this article needs a rename. 05:38, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
