That said, a lot of talk pages ''do'' contain comments about Homestar-Runner characters or actions; there's room for a few comments here and there. An all-out discussion, though--a broad, "what-does-everybody-think-about-this" survey, would be better on the <span class="plainlinks">[http://forum.hrwiki.org/ forum]</span>. And, to actually answer your question: my boring but sincere answer is that it's kind of changed over time, since Homestar is the product of TBC's imagination. I think the "blue soles" suggest that they started out thinking primarily of pants. Later, when people started commenting on how it looked, they made it a kind of joke, just like Strong Bad's boxing-glove-typing and Homestar's [[Lack of Visible Arms]]. Recent events, like this email and [[senior prom]], increasingly suggest that he ''is'' pantsless and in denial about it.
