::As far as I can tell, it is the original Optimus Prime from the old show.  The other Autobots had similar, but distinctly different heads, while the Decepticons had slightly more angles and "evil" looks on thier faces. Hasboro may have used the head on other characters action figures since then, and I haven't seen the newer shows enough to guarantee that it is the only Transformer ever to have used that particular head. If that's Optimus Prime, then I'm Bob Hope: it looks absolutely NOTHING like Optimus Prime's head, rather it looks like just a generic Transformer.  For the record, I am a huge Transformers fan, and can isolate the following differences:
# Optimus has no visible mouth; he has a faceplate. This Transformer has a mouth.
# Optimus has a large vertical grilled box that dominates his forehead.  This Transformer does not.
# Optimus has a pair of antenna-rod things on the sides of his head, where his ears would be.  This Transformer does not.

I am 175% positive that is not Optimus Prime, or even intended to be Optimus Prime.  Considering how the Brothers Chaps approach everything, if it was supposed to be Optimus, then they would have drawn it to look exactly like him.  I'm sure that if you look around, you could isolate a Tranformer that matches it, if not at least a dozen, minimum (hell, I could even ask my brother, who keeps track of that kind of thing much more than I do).  Because of that, I would say that it's just supposed to be a generic Transformer.

:Well Mr. Hope, upon reviewing the pictures you provided, the painting looks even more like Optimus to me than it did before.  The "mouth" you describe on this painting looks like nothing more than a dent in his faceplate, and not something that would be big enough to even be a mouth.  His forehead piece may have been too complex for the Brothers Chaps to include in The Cheat's stencil, and the antenna-rod things you describe are only apparent in the action figure, and that appears to be a little stylized.  In the cartoon, they look kind of small and uncool.  It is possible TBC based this simple little drawing off only the cartoon, determining the horns took away from the leader of the Autobots.  Or maybe the drew it like this to stimulate some debate for them to read and laugh at.  Who knows?  Anyway, the page doesn't state that it is absoultely Optimus, but maybe we ought to put this in the STUFF Vote section.

Ok, I had the TV on Cartoon Network waiting for Family Guy to start and "Cartoon Cartoon" was on.  The clip showing had some cartoon bear with a transparant tank holding an evil brain with eyes on his head.  The brain had designed some kind of super weapon . Lo and behold, it was Rad Rad Robotank!  It had almost the exact same head, and tank body with two comicly large canon on either side instead of the one normal one.  Am I completely insane or has anyone else seen this and if so, could it be the true source of Robotank? - crysys

Well okay, but if that's Homestar then it would seem we have to accept the following:
# Homestar owns or rents a "fancy" doublewide trailer.
# Homestar has a portrait of Strong Bad holding a skunk hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar has a cool portrait of a unicorn on a snowmobile hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar keeps Cold Ones in his trailer.
# Strong Bad is impressed by something Homestar owns (he speaks favorably of the trailer and both pieces of art).
# Strong Bad passes up the opportunity to comment on all this.  Ordinarily, he would be outwardly upset at having to admit Homestar owns or has done something cool, and would either change his opinion about said coolness or comment that Homestar has no business owning such things.  Or maybe fall into despondency.
Based on everything we know about both of these characters, it just doesn't make any sense to me.  Best I can figure is that it's the real owner of the doublewide using a Homestar quote to fit the situation (which happens around my house all the time, especially when anything happens with anything that's blue).  And the accent really isn't quite right at the end of the quote.

I'm happy to be proven wrong ... somebody make sense out of all the above for me, please.

Thus this can be Homestar ''and'' Bob & Doug (though I really don't think they should get a Fun Fact). On the reality of what we're seeing, no, not everything we see in a sbemail is H*R-reality. (In fact I'd venture to say the ''majority'' of things we see are hypothetical!) We have the entire page [[Places Strong Bad Made Up]] as a result. This is one such place (although, as I said above, I don't think it should be added to the page). Strong Bad started hypothesizing about himself as a black velvet painting, then extended the speculation to the fact that it would hang in a double-wide; then as a nice touch we discover that the double-wide belongs to Trailer Homestar. Who carves things in walls (as opposed to [[Cool Things|painting them]]), sits around drinking cold ones, and chucks the bottles at the wall. (And, although the voice indicated grogginess in [[caper]], I think here it indicates the ravages of years of alcohol and hollerin' at his woman. Plus a current state of significant inebriation). Please do not, on the basis of these remarks, create a page for "Trailer Homestar" or the place. ::#The lamp is there to be tacky and to be knocked over by a beer bottle, elaborating the trailer-resident theme;
::#It's a moose lamp to keep it from being the cow lamp; and
::#The only thing Homestar's doing there is providing his quote to heighten the funniness of the moment. We don't have to worry about ''Strong Bad'' putting him there; he's no longer speaking, and the hypothetical reality has now left his direct control. He didn't put Homestar there; '''TBC did'''.
