Banned Picture

I can't help noticing that you used the "suggestive" picture involving Strong Mad and Marzipan on this page. Please try to get another. -Marth 99 21:49, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I'll halfta grab another screeny on my homegirl's Tangerine Dreams compy. I'm too lazy to watch it again and check - so, uh - is that one part still suggestive? Because if it is, I'll just take a shot of their band.

Update — I looked at highschool's talkpage and I found a picture of their band, which was what I was going to take, anyway - thank the Lord. We'll just use that one for the time being. — Darth Katana X ( )

Personally, I don't see a problem with the picture as it is now, but it appears people are reverting your edits for the band picture because of this: When you have an article like this one that includes the title of a TV show or similar, the picture should show the title screen. The band picture is nice and pertains to the cartoon, and it would be nice to include here were this a longer article, but it doesn't really fit here now. —  KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:22, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Band

When all the characters go in a band, even though their music is not the same, is this a possible reference to The Misfits? Stongbah

I doubt it. The name "Mysfit-steries" is just an amalgamation of "Misfits" and "Mysteries", and "misfit" is a pretty common word. —  KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Would The Cheat then be Scrappy?

(taken from Talk:Teenage Variation) Well look at the way Strong Mad is, he's wearing glasses, has brownish hair, and then look at Strong Bad, the way hes hunched over reminded me of Shaggy. Scrappy could speak fluent English, and we know The Cheat can't even say Douglas. I think that would make him Scooby. (I kinda wonder how he does the voices for his PbTC toons, though. Maybe he has The Poopsmith do them.) — It's dot com 17:24, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

I think the jersey is just pointing out that the main guy character in most 60's-70's cartoon shows usually was the all american athlete. — DBK! 17:29, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Personally the only one I had trouble buying is Shaggy for Strong Bad. All the others seem to match pretty well, expecially Strong Mad/Velma. - Joshua 18:04, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
