[edit] The sound of 0-mouth eating
Coach Z and Pom-Pom can eat the marshmallows, even though they they don't have any mouths.

Arguments for:
Arguments against:
- Is this really of interest?
- Even if it is, need we note each time a character does something it must do by design, such as Homestar carrying things?
Additional comments:
- Well Homestar Can still pick things up with his lack of arms
- Lack of visible mouths is also noted on that page, btw.
- Does this happen anywhere else? And if so, is it noted?
- There are many other places where both have been seen in the process of eating, if not actually physically in the act. Pom Pom has a "dang ice cream" in Bug In Mouth Disease. He bogarts the stuffinged ham in Homestar Presents: Presents. Coach Z sits down to the same, with Salisbury/turkey, earlier in the same 'toon. He goes for a bowl of free iced cream in secret recipes. Have we forgotten his clandestine love affair with Listerine, from The Best Decemberween Ever to senior prom? And finally—hey—both of them come to the door soliciting edible treats. And quite a few times if I remember correctly. If we note this here, we ought to in each of those places. And that's silly. (It perhaps, though, deserves a mention in the aforementioned no-armed page.)
- Uh, this lack of mouth stuff is already mentioned on the aforementioned page, along with Bubs appearing to have a solid wall of teeth. In fact, I added it.

[edit] The Whatever
A luau is a type of feast prominent in Hawaiian culture. It consists primarily of traditional Polynesian song and dance and the eating of an ethnic paste called poi, as well as roasting pork and salmon over an open rotisserie. Since Marzipan is a vegetarian, however, she instead roasts a slab of tofu.

Arguments for:
- Interesting, and not everyone watching the toon will know this.
Arguments against:
- Anyone can figure out what a luau is by watching the toon.
- This seems unnecessarily long.
Additional comments:
- The only issue here is the phrase "ethnic paste." Since I indulged the wikilink, I learned poi is made of the mashed stem of a plant whose name I cannot recall at this moment - it's not quite soup, not quite glue, apparently. I know the author is trying to convey the fact that poi (whatever it is) is representative of Polynesian culture (as opposed to, say, that of the Laplanders), but can't we think of something better than "ethnic paste"?
- How about just "paste"?
- That works.
Proposed revision:
Even though a Hawaiian luau normally features meat, Marzipan, a vegetarian, roasts a slab of tofu.
Arguments for:
- This revision contains the essential information of the original fact and is much more concise.
Arguments against:
- The revision has none of the heart or interest of the original.
Additional comments:
- The fact upon which this revision is based is currently on its way to acceptance. Why muddy the waters with a proposed change?
- Because things can change in a close vote. Not that they necessarily will on this item, mind you.

[edit] First Times
This is the first time Missy Palmer has been credited as a writer.
From: The Luau

Arguments for:
Arguments against:
- It's the only time Missy Palmer has been credited as a writer.
Additional comments:
- How, exactly, does the first argument against invalidate this this fact?
- Why not give us a argument for it?

Tofu is an Asian food made from curds of soy milk.
From: The Luau

Arguments for:
Arguments against:
- This isn't necessary. Just link to tofu in the item above or somewhere in the transcript.
- It is a real fact, but that's true. It just isn't needed.

[edit] Unexpected guests?
In Strong Bad's marshmallow roast, he was seen with 16 name tags. Yet, at the time, only 11 characters existed, and even if Homsar did, there would still be too many. Also, Strong Sad and Marzipan were at the luau, and the KOT was uninvited, so only eight tags were used, (Unless someone wasn't wearing one).

Arguments for:
- Hard to find, good to know.
Arguments against:
- It was obviously just done that way to fill up screen space.
- For all we know, Strong Bad may have been expecting more guests.
- Why would STrong Bad keep track if he was putting the same name on all of the tags? He probably just filled out the whole box of them with "Crap for Brains"
