Karate Car, a movie entirely in ASCII art
ASCII art is a recurring theme in the Homestar Runner world, especially on Strong Bad's computers. However, most of the ASCII art seen is not possible to make in a normal ASCII art setting – often, different characters are different sizes, or are offset vertically.
Appearances
- Debut: couch patch — The Compy 386 prints out an ASCII art million dollar bill.
- Thy Dungeonman and Thy Dungeonman II — The title screens are ASCII art.
- some kinda robot — The DVD version has an Easter egg which shows an ASCII art rendering of a robot.
- virus — The Virus turns Marzipan into ASCII art.
- dreamail — The e-marlin jumps from the bottom of the Lappy 486's screen.
- Happy Trogday — One of the images is an ASCII art rendering of Trogdor.
- the movies — Strong Bad watches an ASCII art movie, Karate Car.
- from work — The Cheat is rendered in ASCII art on a floppy disk.
