This page is supposed to be a place for discussing standards for translating Subtitles into German. Input form other translators is always welcome.

The Cheat	no translation	There have been some discussions over Der/The Cheat.
King of Town	König der Stadt	Alleine schon wegen der im Deutschen etwas unpassenden Abkürzung "Kot".
Reinforcements	Verstärkung	His name is mostly used for the "We need Reinforcements"-pun, which frequently occurs in the Cheat Commandos Toons. It is translated into "Wir brauchen Verstärkung".
the Poopsmith	der Mistschmied	Since it's mostly a description of his job, it should be translated. Also, it's important to understand the meaning of the word for a lot of jokes concerning the Poopsmith.
