A lot of the time, especially in Strong Bad Emails, when one or more characters sings to music, they sing in a key that does not match the tune they are singing to. This usually happens when the music clip is very brief.
Examples
- Email highschool — The song "Havin' Fun With My Friends" is in the key of C, but Homestar Runner sings in G.
- Email fan club — When Strong Sad sings the Strong Badia National Anthem, the tune is in C but he sings in D.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 15 — Tenerence Love sings "Light Purple Cummerbund" in B-flat, but the tune is in C.
