The flask was first invented in the [[Strong Bad Email]] [[video games]]. It has since appeared in several of the Thy Dungeonman games. In the first game, it was found to be bolted to a wall, which was bolted to the rest of the dungeon, which was probably bolted to a castle. But if you are persistent by typing "get flask" three times, you would unbolt the flask, and the entire dungeon would crash down on you, leaving you with a score of -996. In Thy Dungeonman 3, the object of the game was to get ye flask, but once the flask is touched, Thy Dungeonman was transported to a crossroad. It was necessary to retrieve a pair of flask-getting gloves to grab ye flask.

A trinket is located beside an embankment, or possibly a chasm. Once you get the trinket, you find that it is instead a bauble, and painfully thrust it into your pouchel. The bauble could be given to [[Minor Thy Dungeonman Characters#Dennis|Dennis]], and he would inform you as to what a parapet is. You would then complete the game.

Thy Dungeonman finds a rope that is located beside some parapets. He is confused about what a parapet is. If he gives the bauble to Dennis, he will learn about these parapets. Apparently, this valuable knowledge allows him to escape from the dungeon and complete the game.
