Hey everyone! This is Lapper here, or you can call me Alex. I'm a 15 year old guy living in Missouri, United States. Although I'm not as active here at the wiki as I probably should be, I hope to contribute much more now than ever before. Homestar Runner has been a large intrest of mine for a long time, and I hope to see that it keeps doing as well as this wiki is.

Soon after, I showed my younger sister and we became superfans, patrolling the site to look for new things, and new eggs. We quickly memorized as many quotes as we could possibly [[HRWiki:STUFF|STUFF]] our brains with. Homestar at our school was the new [[Cool Things|Cool Thing]] to talk about/quote.

In April of 2005, I discovered the Homestar Wiki through a Google search some forgotten Saturday morning. I was amazed with how the wiki knew what was on the Homestar site before even I did. The first page I went to on the wiki was the [[Running Gags]] page. Within a few days, the small band of sysops grew with sysop nomiations. I remember chuckling when [[User:The Paper|The Paper]] was unsure whether he could nominate himself. But now I realize how valuable all the sysops are to the wiki.

I created an account immediately, for I knew I wanted to be part of this community, to contribute any way I could. During my first few months, however, my contributions were sparse. I mostly watched and learned, trying to pick up MediaWiki syntax while making the occasional edit. After being welcomed by [[User:Rogue Leader|Rogue Leader]], I was inspired to begin contributing to a much greater extent. While I may not edit as much now as I have in the past few years, know that I am still here, and can always be contacted ''somehow''.

I joined the [[HRWiki:Recent_changes_patrol|recent changes patrol]] on September 18, 2005. So far I have patrolled 686 edits and added 1 troll to [[HRWiki:WikiTroll]]. The most recent troll attack I have assisted with is the Familyguy attack on October 15, 2005. I do work hard to help this wiki, and anyone who objects to that by knowingly vandalizing pages will not end up applauded. Don't be afraid if you accidentally made an incorrect fun fact or something else minor. That's not trolling. When you start to cross the line by making inappropriate comments or remarks on page discussions or talk pages, that's when you'll hear from a member of the patrol. If you actually vandalize pages, you can be banned from editing. The recent changes patrol is patrolling for trolls.

Hey, everyone. This is Lapper, here. As a systems operator, I welcome any questions, concerns, or requests from you at any time. Homestar Runner is a classic favorite of mine, and I hope to see both the cartoon and the wiki thrive in the future.

I was turned on to Homestar at the same time the stunt double email came out, late July 2003. It was then that I first saw Homestar at a local Science Center's Internet station, saw Strong Bad do all of his own stunts, and I was hooked immediately. I visited the site constantly, exploring all of its content. Every part of the site was idyllic to me.

In April of 2005, I discovered the Homestar Runner Wiki through a Google search some forgotten Saturday morning. I was amazed at its thoroughness and sheer amount of content. I created an account immediately, for I knew I wanted to be part of this community, to contribute any way I could. During my first few months, however, my contributions were sparse. I mostly watched and learned, trying to pick up MediaWiki syntax while making the occasional edit. After being welcomed by Rogue Leader, I was inspired to begin contributing to a much greater extent. While I may not edit as much now as I have in the past few years, know that I am still here, and can always be contacted somehow.
