Namco was a popular video game company. Founded in 1955, it found success in the 70s and 80s publishing and developing arcade games like Pac-Man, Dig Dug, and Galaxian; Namco's fortunes struggled at the turn of the century, and the company was effectively dissolved into Bandai Namco Entertainment in 2006.

- Scrolling Shooter Games Menu — The layout for level 1 resembles Xevious.
- The layout for level 3 most likely resembles Galaga.
- Email caffeine — Strong Bad mispronounces the "TN" in the email sender's location (TN actually means Tennessee) as Tekken.
- Email redesign (DVD commentary) — Matt Chapman mentions Pole Position, a racing game made by Namco.
- Everything Else, Volume 3 — The Holidays menu is modeled after Dig Dug.
- Doomy Tales of the Macabre — Pom Pom dresses up as Pooka, an enemy from the game Dig Dug. The Popsmith destroys him with a pixelated pump, one of the ways that Pookas are killed in the game.
- Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate — The arcade game "Rig Rug" (a reference to Dig Dug) is mentioned in the first Roomisode, then made into a key part of the second, and a home console version is seen in the post-game.
