Man, I was hoping for something really good. This April Fool's wasn't all that funny, and it simply made an ugly mess of the Main Pages. I just hope that this just means that email 150 is that much better! --Jay (Gobble) 05:36, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed... It actually gives me a headache. It's very disorienting. --DorianGray
- I hope they do more and fix out the kinks when it's April Fool's for different time zones. PurpleKoopa 06:13, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- It appears that all the pages are upside down...which is annoying, but effective given that it took a minute to realize it just turned April 1.--Motorbikematt 06:39, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it kind of gives me a headache. Still, it's kind of cool. Btw, nice sig Jay. I mean Tom. I mean DOUBLE DEUCE!!!! ⇔ŢɦųηɗəřÞìɤɖ⇔ 08:14, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
It's funny, but at the expense of every other joke on the site. 86.136.82.105 14:46, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

How did they do it?
Does any one know how they did it? I doubt they manually fliped every movie (and 150 sbemails).
- 149.5 actually. They did it by changing all the embedded swf files to "theyCallHimFlipper.swf?contentURL=name of original swf file.swf", which flips them over. --

Changed throughout the early morning
I was there at random times up until about 2 am (darn college lifestyle) At some point the main page and the toons menu page were both unrotated. They also had the Weeklies items (QFSR) moved at about the same time.
Anyone else get a chance to see this?
Now I'm mad!
Now everything's upside down! TBC have just ruind April Fools' Day! This isn't funny! Chess Cheese
So who agrees with me? Chess Cheese
Well, there could have been a cartoon, but no, the site just HAD to be messed up. On purpose! Chess Cheese
Nah, I'de rather steal them. :) Chess Cheese
They COULD have made a cartoon, but that would mean you would have had to wait longer for sbemail 150. —BazookaJoe 16:15, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
That would be definetly worh it, unless it's my email. Chess Cheese
Hm. Well, it wasn't as funny as Under Construction and HomestarRunner.com PAY PLUS! were, but not bad... kinda cliche, though. I've seen that joke many times. -YK 06:12, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
lol
lol look at This. --TheThingé 16:36, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Déjà vû…
Man, all those glitches remind me so badly of the subtitles Flash thingy I made back in the day... Exactly like Flipper, it had to load a swf from the Homestar site and display it with various differences (flipper has it upside down, subtitles had it with text overlayed). I had the same problem with weird-proportion toons (took about a page worth of geometry and algebra to fix that one), toons that used _root
(it took me days to find _lockroot
), and missing text in certain toons (I never fixed this one... I "fixed" it by never subtitling Under Construction...). It doesn't surprise me one bit that TBC hit the same problems. --phlip TC 17:25, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
A Conspiracy?
