Bears are one of the few animals to appear in the Homestar Runner universe. They usually appear either as products or cartoons.

- Homestarloween Party — The Cheat carries a teddy bear called Pooky as part of his Garfield costume.
- Email theme party — The T-shirt Easter egg features a bear wearing sunglasses, along with Calvin from the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes.
- Email couch patch — Homestar Runner is seen spitting Teddy Grahams in Strong Bad's basement.
- Email Greeting Cards — One of the cards has a picture of a bear standing behind a mic at a comedy club.
- Commandos in the Classroom — A diagram of a bear's body appears at the beginning of pro-postitive life tool #3.
