:You're wrong, and here's why "The" is chosen over "Kristen". In TGS 1, So and So is killed, and What's Her Face calls her "Kristen", so The Ugly One can't be Kristen. In TGS 10, however, The Ugly One's dad is called Manolios Ugly One, then by Western naming conventions, her surname would be "Ugly One" and her given name would be "The". Also, don't ban yourself for life, just contribute in keeping with established consensus. {{User:Flashfight/sig}} 08:31, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Pinebark

Without looking too exhaustively into this, what in the heck is Pinebark? Since the Ugly One listens to it, I'm assuming it's a band. Or perhaps I should look at it literally - it's almost more amusing to imagine the Ugly One listening to a conifer.--The Smoking Monkey 14:21, 7 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Jimmies

I'm on a Trivial Rampage today! How many folks out there refer to "sprinkles" as "jimmies" or vice versa? I know there's some debate about this (some say it's a pop/soda regional distinction, some that they're actually two different things), so how about it?--The Smoking Monkey 15:04, 7 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I think it should be noted. I live in the northeastern US, and most folks around here simply say "sprinkles." However, my family refers to the rainbow topping as "sprinkles" and chocolate ones as "jimmies." It's different and confusing. Teh_Frossty_One

Wow, I thought I was the only one who made that particular distinction. Must be a northeast thing. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 19:39, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

Time for a gallery?

I hope I didn't overstep any bounds by uploading colored pictures of the Squad, but I likes the look. And, since The Ugly One got a makeover, I added that, too. Is it time for a gallery? I think the page is looking pretty messy. THE SMOKING MONKEY 16:14, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

I think it looks fine like this. — talk Bubsty edits 03:40, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Sand?

Seriously now. Why is there a wiki link for "sand"? That's like wiki-linking "ocean" or "sky". If you don't know what sand is, you can almost certainly guess by watching the toon. Crystallina 20:49, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

I've been noticing people wiki-linking obvious things too, but this page seems like a magnet for it. I mean, psoriasis is okay, and maybe jimmies, because I did not know what those were, but I think most people know what hygiene, uglyness, and sand are. I almost laughed when I first visited this page. Has Matt? 23:50, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
The links aren't always about learning what something is, but rather learning more about something. Although I'd admit that ugliness and sand are going too far. - Joshua 01:00, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, it does more help then harm. In fact, it doesnt do any harm at all. there could be someone who doesn't know much about sand... like me.... — talk Bubsty edits 00:04, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Uggs?

In the Camp episode, where Cheerleader used the term "Uggs," I was under the impression she was referring both to The Ugly One and What's Her Face, not just The Ugly One. I thought this because Uggs are a type of boot, and Ugg is singular. :D I know this is nit-picky, but it seems like the line referring to the term "Uggs" should be removed.

No, it's pretty clear it refers to The Ugly One only. She uses it directly to only The Ugly One twice: once one saying who'll bunk with her, and once when telling her to be her wingman. What's Her Face was not even present at the second time. --DorianGray
) OK, thanks...I need to watch things more carefully. Danke!

The Virus

Should there be a link to her virus form in the article?--ONESTOP 02:15, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Integral Article in TGS 14

In TGS 14 Quarterman calls The ugly one "ugly one" without "the" repeatedly. Is her article really integral. I vote no. Physicsguymonsterman 16:08, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Integral articles aren't always consistent. Sure, The Cheat is almost never named without "The", but look at The Poopsmith or The King of Town. She's called "The Ugly One" often enough that there's no reason for us to drop it from the article title. --Jay (Gobble) 16:12, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

The ugly one's possible real names

A real name is not "The". Therefore this is not a possible real name. If her name is not Kristen, then it's not The either, and therefore it should just read "whose "real" name is either Virginia, Joy, or Jennifer."

You're wrong, and here's why "The" is chosen over "Kristen".
