Creating for the sake of creating
I see nothing interesting or out of the ordinary in any of the instances. This seems like another case of people creating pages because there's nothing better to do. — Defender1031*Talk 17:59, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- This a banner example what HRW:Spoons is trying to convey. HRW:IG states that a generic item has to have 5 to 10 appearances, and have moderate importance. Bikes I could let pass, since it was the focus of at least one SBEmail, and was a plot point for a couple others. But flashlights have not been used unusually in any of their appearances. It's basically a typical prop. Not notable = DELETED. wbwolf (t | ed) 18:06, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'd call it a spoon, but... regardless, this is not nearly notable. Not a food, not a gag, not a person. Items which are common to real life and appear in appropriate uses are defined as "generic" by our standards. Generic pages need more uses than this. That said, I don't think I'd like this page if it had 30 uses. It just isn't notable.--Jellote wuz here 20:17, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
