(A little rewording to make it differ from the original Tweet. Turns out Wikipedia doesn't have a page for the 1984 Deadly Impact, but rather an unrelated 2009 film instead.)
(Appearances: link to twin film concept here too)

"The Deep Impact DVD?! You got me this for like the last three years, man!"

Deep Impact is a 1998 film about a meteor threatening to hit the Earth. Homestar Runner buys DVDs of this movie to give to Strong Bad constantly, thinking it's the perfect present for him, to Strong Bad's annoyance. Strong Bad has received it at least six times.

Appearances

  • The Best Decemberween Ever — Homestar puts aside multiple presents that have "Strong Bad" written all over them (literally, in some cases) to declare the Deep Impact DVD to be the perfect Decemberween present. Strong Bad protests that Homestar gave him the same present the previous three years.
  • Real-Live E-Mails — Strong Bad sees Homestar talking into a microphone and asks if Homestar is working on his DVD. Homestar misinterprets this as an opportunity to give Strong Bad another Deep Impact DVD.
  • Flash is Dead! — Strong Bad equates the loss of Flash to a meteor heading for the Earth. Homestar then decides that Strong Bad means that he wants yet another Deep Impact DVD (this time a custom-made vector rather than an image of the actual cover), holding it out and mentioning two actors that played in it (Morgan Freeman and Robert Duvall). He then proceeds to confuse it for its similarly themed contemporary, Armageddon.
  • @StrongBadActual tweet (25 Dec 2017) — Strong Bad claims that in the Dangeresque universe, Dangeresque Too gives Dangeresque a copy of Deadly Impact every Decemberween.
