Metalmation is the animation studio responsible for the first (and only) episode of Limozeen: "but they're in space!".
The company's name and logo parody animation studio Filmation, which was active from 1963 to 1989 and notable for its use of inexpensive limited animation. Its animated television shows included Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, Star Trek: The Animated Series, and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
