Formatting problems

I'm not sure if templates are allowed to have talk pages, but here's my question. Is there anyway we can get the text to wrap around the pictures on the main page? Right now the store notice is stretching it out ridiculously and I've noticed it doing this before. —mibluvr13 23:08, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Other than <img> tags, I can't really think of anything. --Shadow Hog 23:11, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I don't notice anything unusual. The text seems to flow under the pictures just fine here. Describe what you're seeing some more. — It's dot com 23:16, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I think he means how one message is 10 lines long. - Joshua 23:29, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
She. And of course that's all relative, because it's much less on a lot of screens. If I narrow my window enough, however, the text does start to flow around the images, which is why I was looking for more information. — It's dot com 23:45, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
My resolution is only 800 by 600, which I'm guessing now is rather small these days, and I'm using Firefox if that helps at all. I played around with my window, but the text doesn't flow around the image for me at least. For lack of a better way to describe it, here's a screenshot.

Oh. That's problematic. I have an idea, though. Lemme try it out... - Joshua 00:11, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
The problem is in the *'s, although we sort of need those... it's simply a too long message. - Joshua 00:17, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Deleting things is not the answer. We need to figure out why the text is not wrapping correctly for her (and possibly others). — It's dot com 00:18, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Oh, I know why. Check this out. Compare.
  • Store notice changed again: "This Fall we'll be introducing a lot of new products! We'll have a NEW DVD containing all the Short Cartoons, the Teen Girl Squad cartoons, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus Strong Bad Polos and Li'l Brudder Shirts just to name a few." And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

See? It's that star marker. Anyway, this problem has always existed, it just hasn't been noticed before. - Joshua 00:42, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Other than one side being indented and the other side not, I don't see a substantial difference between the two. They both wrap under the image beneath it, which apparently is not happening for mibluvr13. — It's dot com 00:48, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
The left one doesn't wrap for me either. small_logo.pngUsername-talk 00:50, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
The left one doesn't wrap for me... my computer must function the same way. But why? Is it because it's a Windows XP? Maybe it's Mozilla Firefox... - Joshua 00:51, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Yep, that's it. Mozilla Firefox. Both wrap fine on IE. (But I'm not switching.) - Joshua
Hmm..It works for me. I'm using Fierfox, but I'm on a mac.--minibaseball.png Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 01:32, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Well, we need to get it work with everyone. And there's enough Windows XP Mozilla Firefox users out there to make this a problem. - Joshua 01:42, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Back before my paranoid mom made me uninstall Firefox, I remember everything working properly on Windows XP. - KookykmanImage:kookysig.gif(t)(c)(r)

Store Item of the Week

TBC are going to update the Store every Friday with an item of the week. Is this important enough to go on whatsnew from now on? I can definitely see an indirect benefit for them and us if we put it up. —BazookaJoe 20:36, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, BazookaJoe, why don't you be bold. —BazookaJoe 21:05, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
