Expanding it link
Okay, I found the problem we were having with pages being made with a leading colon. The stub link for "expanding it" adds the ":". I tried fooling with it, and it seems to work correctly after I removed the colon between {{NAMESPACE}} and {{PAGENAME}}. But now it won't work correctly if it was on a non-main namespace page. Any ideas? I guess we could make seperate templates for different namespaces if that is needed. (Oh, and here's a link to Wikipedia's code for their stub message.) -- Tom 13:36, 18 Sep 2004 (MST)
- Hi Tom, I know this is an old entry, but seeing since I saw no 'resolution message' in the matter, I wanted to know if the issue has been resolved or not. And if not, could you give an example of namespaces where it doesn't work? My assumption is that it works now since I tried looking at its effect on different namespaces (without saving) and saw it work fine. --Stux 16:52, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

The new image next to the stub template looks great! «Rob»

Blue links?
Should we make the "expanding it" link look like an internal link? You know, like this instead of this? Bluebry 21:59, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- If no one opposes, I'm going to do it. Bluebry 04:06, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- How are you going to do that? —BazookaJoe 04:08, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Look at my user page. I do it all the time! Bluebry 14:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- And if you haven't noticed, the one on the left is fake, yet it looks like the real one. Bluebry 15:21, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

There's a sample. Bluebry 15:24, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ohhh you want to make it look like a dark blue link... Well, if you're going for authenticity, notice that your google and Homesar links aren't 100% equivalent. The homesar one is slightly darker. As for really needing to do that... I don't know. --Stux 15:49, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- That's because you've been to Homsar. Umm, try these:
Homestar Runner; 147; Strong Bad; modeling; Teenage Variation Do they look different in color? I'm just guessing you've been to one, and not the other
Bluebry 16:07, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, I think I've been to all of them. They all look the same color. Oh except Teenage Variation, the one I fixed... I see it now that I hit preview. I dunno, given that there exists this "vlink feature", is it a good idea to go through all this troule? Ok now to make Teenage Variaton dark... After I take a screenshot. --Stux 16:16, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Strong Body
That is totally freakin' hilarious, man. Perfect! High fives! — It's dot com 06:14, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- Strong Body scares me. Do we have to have it as the Stub logo? Ppk01 13:52, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- I do like having an original picture for us, not something copied from Wikipedia. I agree Strong Body is a bit unexpected, but I can't think of anything better. And it is pretty humerous. I don't mind it. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 16:33, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

- It's nice, but, I think it's too complicated. I know Wikipedia does it, but, that's a whole different wiki. Bluebry 23:06, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
