• Strong Bad has no problem typing commas on the Lappy, despite its missing "toe".

Is this fun fact really worth noting? Most keys have a little spring or rubber thing below them, so it's not that hard to type if you're missing a key. I don't think it must be removed, but I'm inclined against keeping it.--Bobo the King 08:59, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I know from personal experience that yes, it is possible even if the rubber knob and spring had also been removed. It's VERY hard (like it'll work 1 time out of 10) but if you press hard enough on the shiny part of it, sometimes it'll work. -WarthogDemon 23:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Gears and Fans

I hardly think its necessary for a computer to have working "gears and fans" to run. Certainly not gears anyway, and fans is highly debatable. --JamesDean 09:01, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I exploded the cooling system in my mom's computer and it continued to work fine. Well, maybe not "fine" (it freezes up whenever the CPU gets too hot), but I'm sure Strong Bad could continue to check email, especially since the giant hole in the screen would provide additional cooling. Actually, if you want to really be technical, the gears and fan would make up part of the monitor and it would actually be a cathode ray tube considering the suggested age of the computer. In this case, the monitor would not work at all because the electron gun would have been completely blasted out of the monitor by the shotgun blast. Marzipan's Hair?

It appeared to me that Marzipan's hair was just tied up, as many a gymnast or contortionist is oft to do.

Concerning Automatic hole formatting!

Sorry, new to Wiki-editing, but I was wondering if that fact that Strongbad's reply is in this e-mail doesn't seem to fully conform to the compy's auto hole formatting would count as a goof? --Ilascott

Lappy's "toe" missing

It isn't a goof, because it was a goof in part A.

"I give you...Kong, the eighth wonder of the world!"

I'm trying to add the fact that, though "the eighth wonder of the world" is applied a lot, Strong Bad's use is almost certainly a direct reference to the most famous, Carl Denham's carnival-barker-like use of the term to introduce Kong in captivity in the classic 1933 film "King Kong." However, it keeps getting undone, instantly.

I've seen the movie enough times that it was the first thing to come to mind when Strong Bad used the term. In fact, that's the most famous one, as I said; furthermore, the combination of Strong Bad as carnival barker, and the fact that he's introducing Strong Mad, seems to make it extremely plausible. Leviathan?

Should "Leviathan" be a real-world reference? It's a sea monster in the Old Testament. [1] I know it's also a book by Hobbes, but given that it's referring to Brother Graw Mad here, I'm thinking the sea-monster allusion is the right one. - Rasmoh 18:20, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

No 404 page

Return of the Tandy

The following fact was proposed, which I like, even though I think it's too much of a stretch. The two do bear some interesting similarities, though.

• The the appearance of the ghosts of Tandy and Compy watching over as Strong Bad and Lappy are happily walking in the sunset may be a reference to the end of Return of the Jedi when the ghosts of Obi Wan, Anikan Skywalker, and Yoda appear during the victory celebration.

The End?

At the end of this sbemail, there is no link to email Strong Bah. This would not be so bad except that there does not seem to be any more plot to elaborate on. That, added to the warm fuzzy sunset scene, followed by the one-liner, (just like in most sitcom finales) could maybe possibly spell the end of sbemails. Does anybody else see this, or am I just paranoid?--The4sword 02:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
