ASCII art is a recurring theme in the Homestar Runner world, especially on Strong Bad's computers. However, most of the ASCII seen is not possible to make on a real screen.

- Debut: couch patch — The Compy 386 prints out an ASCII milllion dollar bill.
- flashback — The Compy rewards Strong Bad's hundredth email with ASCII fireworks.
- Thy Dungeonman II — The title screen is ASCII.
- virus — The Virus turns Marzipan into ASCII.
- dreamail — The e-marlin jumps from the bottom of the Lappy 486's screen.
- Happy Trogday — One of the images is an ASCII-rendered Trogdor.
- the movies — Strong Bad watches an ASCII movie, Karate Car.
- from work — The Cheat is rendered in ASCII on a floppy disk.
