Taranchulas style mimicks that of Metallica
PUT ON THE PAGE'D!! — talk Bubsty edits 17:51, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
The day that Taranchula's music resembles the music of metal-era Metallica is the day that Napalm Death opens for Madonna on tour. Taranchula sound more like grunge or stoner metal than anything else, and NOTHING like the death metal they are purported to be.
Who are they?
I've posed a question regarding the identity of the bandmembers, also a similar question has been posed for this image and if there are other real-life character pictures around they should also list who they are portrayed by. --Stux 20:54, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
Re-directs
Does anyone mind if I create re-directs for each of the band members' names? Beat 02:06, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Country of Origin
One of them sounds German, due to the "Ja." (pronounced ya) Count X Talk Email
- Or scandinavian... seeing as they're all from scandinavia... Thekillerdynamo 05:58, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Allegedly, but their accent definitely sounds more German than Scandinavian.85.224.213.80 17:49, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'd be more willing to bet that TBC just can't too a good Scandinavian accent rather than Taranchula being German... I mean, if you asked me to talk in a Scandinavian accent, I'd probably just to a bad German accent... --phlip TC 15:05, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Dougland?
It says that their music video featured in death metal is directed by Mort Dougland, yet the link directs you to Teeg Dougland's entry. Is this intentional or should it be fixed? TheRealGoatface 02:38, 1 February 2006 (UTC).
- Mort's too minor to have his own page, so, since it's a related topic, he has a little blurb at the end of Teeg's page. --DorianGray
- I see. I agree with you totally. Unless we see Mort Dougland making another (notable) appearance somewhere else on the site, then all he really needs is a little blurb like you said. Oh, and thanks for responding so quickly. :) TheRealGoatface 02:47, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty good at responding, when given the opportunity. And yep, you got the idea down pat. Another example for something like this would be A. Chimendez. --DorianGray

Should that cleanup template still be up? Because all the topics currently on the talk page seem to have been dealt with. -VolatileChemical 22:34, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Immolation similarity
I think that's just a coincidence. Many, many death metal logos look like that. — Darth Katana X ( ) 01:39, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- You might be right. The letters on the Taranchula logo are probably supposed to represent dripping fangs; it's not hard to imagine that the similarity is a coincidence. Trey56 01:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that it's a coincidence, there are hundreds upon thousands of metal bands with logos like that. And since the brothers Chap never admit to listening to death metal... the similarity isn't really worth mentioning towards a band I'm sure they aren't familiar with. I challenge this entry.
