Decompiling

Hey there Techgeekmbg, I noticed that you said you decompiled 20X6 vs. 1936. I've been wanting to learn how to decompile toons. Could you show me the process-cess...cess? Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I paid for Eltima's Flash Decompiler. Google it. The Goblin!! 01:52, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
The free version is pretty sweet by itself, too. --DorianGray 01:54, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Yet it decompiles in black and white, though. I initially used the free version, before I couldn't take the black and white. The Goblin!! 02:02, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Black and white? Not mine. --DorianGray 02:03, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
But I'm on a mac. The mac free version is forever, but leaves a watermark layer (which can be removed), and decompiles in black and white. When extracting each of the extra parts, it does only the first two. Like Stinkoman and The Homestar Runner's body. The Goblin!! 02:06, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Ah. Weird... --DorianGray 02:11, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Why would it change deending on the OS? The Goblin!! 03:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Transcript

You haven't edited the transcript for hygiene since 8:000. Please either work on the transcript or give the transcript up. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 16:18, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Grr...I had a power outage during the edits. I would have finished it if the power hadn't gone out. Do you still want to finish it, because the power is back and won't go out again. The Goblin!! 18:33, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Be sure you change "crudy" to "cruddy".
You know what else? There's no such user as "Techgeek (yes, i am gonna finish this)" which is who the inprogess template links to. You blew it.
All right, anonny, no need to chide for things like this. I've gone ahead and fixed the template. As for the spelling errors, let's finish the transcript first, then we can polish. Heimstern Läufer 19:01, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

quelo jwee

Who said "quelo jwee"? Homestar-Winner (talk) 22:48, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Strong bad, in fingers The Goblin!! 22:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Ohh, I get it. That's what SB types! Homestar-Winner (talk) 22:52, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Random

Hi! I just wanted to tell you, I have blatantly stolen the code from your random quote thing for the bar at the top of my userpage. :P So thanks! Power to the Geeks!--~ SlipStream 12:46, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Sig issue

Hey there, Techgeekmbg. It looks like the last edit you made to your signature includes mismatched tags or brackets, etc. On pages like this one, the timestamp after your sig is appearing on a second line, which is usually an indicator of that. I glanced at your sig, but there's too much going on for me to quickly identify where the problem is. So, I figured I'd just let you know so you can fix it. Hope that helps, Trey56 22:15, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

FIX'D! It is very tempermental like that...it has happened before. Stupid parserfunctions... what I have set up there is that whenever a certain date comes up, like the holidays, my sig changes. The next day, it changes back. the next on is Halloween, which you will see a preview of there.
Some other problems with you sig are that it is too big for Thanksgiving (and a tad too big for Halloween and 4th of July, but that may be okay). Oh, and you have to unnecessary brackets after your Easter sig (not the actual one, the one you have to show other people what it looks like). But I like your idea of the different sigs! See ya, Homestar-Winner (talk) 23:52, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I've wanted to get around to that for a while. Took a while for people to find it, though. The Goblin!! 23:55, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Sorry. But I was thinking maybe you could replace "Thanksgiving" with "Happy T!". That'll just be short enough to fit in the sig box. I think I'm gonna make myself a Halloween sig. (Not today. Maybe in a few days.) Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:03, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Actually, a lot of those were actually correct, just not updated. I removed those, they were too hard to keep updated. The Goblin!! 00:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Aww, I liked it like that. It wasn't too confusing. Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:12, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

HRWiki RC widget

I'll test it out for you, Techgeek. I think Tiger comes out in four or five days, though I may not get it installed the 1st day. Where can I download the widget? Homestar-Winner (talk) 23:45, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Don't you mean Leopard? I'll email it to you. Or if you have a forum account, I'll send it to you by the forum. The Goblin!! 23:46, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Aww man. I was SURE it was called Tiger. Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:23, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey, Techgeek, I'd be happy to test out your Dashboard widget. wbwolf (t | ed) 03:38, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Undo function

Hi, Techgeekmbg, regarding this: The undo function undoes exactly one revision and no more. Since the editor who added that fact did it in two revisions, you can't use undo to revert it. You have to do a traditional revert, that is, go back and edit the version before the fact was edit and save it. Hope that clears it up. Heimstern Läufer 03:10, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

JengaJam

Thanks for at least trying to work on the JengaJam article. Just FYI, downloading the MP3 of the interview is a big help doing the transcript (right or CTRL-click and bring up the Save Linked File As... dialog). I've been meaning to get back to work on it, but I've been busy the last week. wbwolf (t | ed) 23:38, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

French translation

Wow, I didn't realize you were a French speaker — great! I tried translating some French subtitles back in the day, but it turned out my French classes didn't prepare me to write in the way native speakers are used to speaking :( Ah well, it's great to have another French translator! If you see Meuhcoin around, you should give him a ring — he's done a lot of work on the French subtitles! Nice work, and talk atcha later, Trey56 23:58, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Cup of Stew

Hey Geek Tech. You've been making really good edits. So with further ado, I present The Iron Cup of Brunswick Stew!

This award, the first on HRWiki, is given to recognize good contributions and to let people know that their hard work is seen and appreciated. It was given to The Cheat by Strong Bad for his good work on New Boots.

Keep up the good work Techgeekmbg! User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 01:09, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
