Tofu makes numerous appearances in the Homestar Runner universe. It is a food that Marzipan enjoys immensely, though none of the other characters share this viewpoint. However, in the email coloring, Marzipan believes that "soy is [also] murder".

- The Luau — Marzipan tries to serve barbecued tofu to her guests. Homestar Runner makes a tofu replica of himself so he can sneak away.

- Email english paper — Marzipan is said to be famous for tofu breakfast burritos.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 9.2 — Strong Bad tries to make Marzipan believe that tofu is made from baby seals.
- Everybody Everybody Poster — Tofu Homestar appears in the 7th row.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Tofu Homestar is featured in a possible ending.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 — Strong Bad claims Marzipan subscribes to "Soy Bread Tofu Hybrid Cars Magazine".
- Toikey TV — One of the ingredients in Marzipan's Famous Thanksgiving Faux-ducken is bean curd, another name for tofu.
