Green Apple
I don't think the "Green Apple" flavor drink in DNA Evidence counts, since there are green apples. Which taste different then red ones. -Ben (fanstuff style) (70.54.13.39 17:40, 22 January 2008 (UTC))
- I agree. Gonna remove it. — Defender1031*Talk 17:41, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I'll un-bold the "green apple" part, but the rest of the bottles were labeled with only colors. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:24, 22 January 2008 (UTC)- Oh. I see it's already done. Thanks! — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:25, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Capitals
I suggest we capitalize the "flavored" in this article. Sam the Man 15:46, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think it should be hyphenated, myself. - Qermaq - (T/C) 15:50, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think the name should be left as-is. TBC didn't use any hyphens when naming their flavorings, and we should follow that convention. Now, whether hyphen or no hyphen is gramatically correct (I don't think either is gramatically incorrect), or whether it should follow TBC format or the gramatically correct format, is a slightly different issue. At worst, we can provide hyphenated redirects. ([[Color-flavored]], [[Red flavored]], [[Red-flavored]], etc.)--Stux 16:20, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Diet Brown
I found out there's a soda called Dr. Brown, the name is probably funnier if you don't know about that and assume it's just named after its color.
Past-urama
I find this trend of color flavoring suspiciously similar to the dialogue of Fry in Futurama, specifically when he says "Did everything just taste purple for a second?" in The Why of Fry. Since the Chapos have referred to Futurama before, such as the Poopsmith's Zoidberg costume in Most In The Graveyard, would this be relevant enough to be a real-world reference?
- I think things tasting like colours is common enough to not be Futurama-specific. Here is an example, and I could name two more from, say, the Animorphs book series. --DorianGray 23:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Real life?
I've seen some instances of color-flavored objects in the "real world". I recently bought some "blue moon" ice cream, that mentioned its creamy blue flavor. Zyborg
