I thought that this issue had apparently been fixed (see HRWiki talk:Upgrade to MediaWiki 1.8 → Updates pages, Template:updates-box).Never mind, fix was applied to template itself rather than Common.css (or the appropriate file). Re-applied fix to this page --

Why do these DVDs have ratings of 4.4 and 4.5 (out of 10) on Imdb? "I can just watch those online" can't be a reason because the Email DVDs have ratings between 5.9 and 8.0. What makes it stranger is that the Everything Else DVDs started out with ratings of 10.0 and 9.8. Bad Bad Guy 18:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

I guess some people just have no interest in some things, which is why you see low ratings. I think that the reason DVDs ought to be bought is because that the toons' sound is more lifelike than the sound online. If some person has no interest in watching H*R stuff with high quality/HD sound, it's prob'ly his/her problem (No offense though). I must admit that the quotes from Quote of the Week still sound realistic despite the fact that they're on the website. -Charlie Jr.
- You're right about the qotw, but I noted that the Sbemail DVDs had ratings of 6.0-7.5 out of 10. I still think my reason might be a factor. I think I would personally prefer a 2-disc Everything Else DVD to two 1-disc DVDs. Bad Bad Guy 00:57, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I myself am tempted to buy the DVDs, but I've been a bit dissuaded from doing so on account on the above info on their content available online for free. Plus, I've been torn between Everything Else or Emails. I've thought of getting an Email DVD and an EE DVD (preferably the Volume 2 version with the Big Toons and Holiday Toons). According to a confidential email sent to a forum member on this wiki by The Brothers Chaps, another Everything Else DVD (no doubt containing the post-Quality Time toons) will be available later this year, and that forum member shared it with the forum community. Any chance we can start up a page for it? A page for it was previously made in March, but it got deleted. MHarrington 13:46, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Without concrete evidence, there's no need for a page, and as far as I know we've never had pages of speculation before anyway. As for evidence, though...so, um...where's this email? Link to the specific forum page, maybe? --Onamuji (b/w T. C.

- Click here: Everything Else, Vol. 4. Then scroll down until you see a post by Omnisweater. That's where you'll find the information regarding confirmation that a new EE DVD is happening (what little of it is there anyway). It is happening, though; TBC said so. - While it's really cool that another EE is coming out (and the list on the forum page notes that a lot of content will be included), I still think that for prescient sake, we should hold off until the official announcement is made (if traditional holds, probably around November). Somebody tried to create an EE4 page last year, and with the restart of the SBEmails, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody would try to create a strongbad_mail Disc Seven page. - I guess you have a point there. And that list showing the alleged contents are just generally tracked based on what's released. We won't know for certain what's actually released until they actually say something about it. MHarrington 15:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

- "F" for Fluffy-Puff Marshmallows. Or maybe Homestar Runner. Either one fits!
- But seriously though, I don't think they are. That said, they'd be PG-rated at worst if they were, and possibly G. With a couple of minor exclusives aside, they're just cartoons from the website, which are fairly family-friendly. (Or do you mean "rated for quality"? As of 2017, this article has specified that EE collected "almost all non-Strong Bad Email content [...] prior to August 2007." When I updated this article (and made the DVD article), I kept the remark that "nearly all toons [...] prior to August 2007" were collected here. But — what's not on here? Obviously not every site component was collected on DVD (many games would be almost impossible to implement on DVD, the downloads page has little to no use in this format, Strong Sad's Lament is text-based, etc.), but were any toons excluded? You'll forgive me if I'm not particularly interested in going to All Toons and opening every single toon through Quality Time With Cardboard Homestar in a new tab to verify whether or not it was on a DVD. -- Bleu Ninja
