Gen Con 2019 was a gaming convention held from August 1–4, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Brothers Chaps made appearances at the Greater Than Games booth from the 2nd through the 4th "at various unscheduled times" to demonstrate and sell Trogdor!! The Board Game as well as meet with fans of Homestar Runner. Copies of Trogdor!! The Board Game had already begun shipping to Kickstarter backers by the time of this event; a limited number of retail copies were available at the convention, as Greater Than Games partnered with Harmless Junk, Inc. to distribute the game to retailers.
To promote the event, @StrongBadActual's display name ("Strong Bad") was appended with "🔜 GenCon" on July 19th, which was swapped for "🔥💪🏼🐉GenCon" on August 4th. It was changed back to normal around August 7th.
