::Hmmm, "archaic" might be a bit too much here. Anyway, according to Wikipedia, an [[Wikipedia:Apothecary|Apothecary]]'s job description was a bit different from that of a pharmacist. So I guess it's a historic thing that would be out of place in the modern world, and therefore maybe notable. Not so in the old-timey toons, though.
