| - | ::::::That one's easy enough to answer. A catch phrase should be tied to a character, not a product. So "Drink in that bun" is tied to the Sog Dog, not Coach Z. Not a catch phrase. On the other hand, Marshie is pretty much ''defined'' by being the creepy mascot of Fluffy Puff Marshmallows, so it's not unreasonable to consider the Fluffy Puff slogan to ''also'' be his catch phrase, given that he says it frequently enough. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 00:33, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

The best I can come up with is a long list of things that should flag the listener that something's a catch phrase (used repeatedly in unusual contexts, contains an unusual word, complex enough that it's noticeable when it's repeated, called a catch phrase by the characters themselves), yet all but the last of those can be corrupted by noticeably ''non''-catchphrasey examples. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 00:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
