In the Homestar Runner universe and in real life, the Brothers Chaps have made allusions to the Atlanta Braves, their local baseball team, likely because a commercial about them was the inspiration for Homestar Runner's name.

- Emails stunt double and dangeresque 3 — On the newspaper, the baseball players are the Braves.
- Several interviews — The Brothers Chaps mention the Braves.
- Experimental Film — One of the questions is "How many home runs did Hank Aaron have?". The answer is correctly stated as 755.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 11 — The page title of the comic refers to the Braves' 11 consecutive National League East division titles.
- Email buried — Strong Bad refers to the email's sender as Pascual Pérez, former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves.
- Haunted Photo Booth — Homestar dresses as Dale Murphy, and he erroneously compliments his own costume as a Mark Lemke costume.
