[edit] It's/its
I kinda wished we had a page just for the it's/its stuff. Unfortunately it probably doesn't appear as often as I think, but it does bear some significance in their work. Examples:
- "Its" being incorrectly used in First_Time_Here?.
- TBCs discussion in techno#Commentary_Transcript.
- The famous song in local news.
- Apparently SB goofed again in: Greeting_Cards#Goofs.
The two strong bad ones are listed in Strong Bad's Spelling. But I guess this would be a little broader in scope. Four examples might be enough for a page. Any suggestions for suitable names, and any other non-SB examples would be most welcomed! --Stux 16:18, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- As much as people like to make a lot of noise about this mistake, I don't think that such a minor thing, common in the general populace, and without much appearances should be made an article. Sure, it have a song about it and Strong Bad reference it, but as you mentioned, that is included in Strong Bad's Spelling. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:47, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that's very true, which is why I thought of posting a question here instead of making a page. It's definitely a small topic, and three out of the four examples are covered in Strong Bad's Spelling (somewhat) but there is no discussion that links these three (or four) types of instances (1. SB making a song, 2. SB making the same mistake in the song, 3. TBC acknowledging the mistake, 4. Homestar/TBC making the mistake) together in the same section. Perhaps there is already an article we could append this to as a side note? --Stux 16:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
