"Bringing home the bacon" doesn't necessarily mean real bacon, so I'm unsure of inclusion of uses of that phrase. --DorianGray 20:34, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah. You're probably right. I guess I shouldn't add Strong Sad mentioning an actor's bacon number in the movies either. Homestar-Winner (talk) 20:41, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, because that refers to Kevin Bacon, not meat bacon. --DorianGray 20:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Maybe Fortune Cookies doesn't talk about the food, but do you think that Strong Bad's line in modeling was just saying that phrase, or was he actually referring to the food. Because to me is sounds like he's referring to the food. Homestar-Winner (talk) 20:45, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I could believe that... Especially since he only gets, like, 100 bucks. That's not a lot of income, but it IS a lot of meat... And with Strong Bad, you can never be to sure on things anyway. --DorianGray 20:48, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I doubt he's talking about the food, considering he begins the phrase with "bring home". Strong Bad isn't exactly a financial wizard, so to him, 108 bucks might could seem like a lot. Has Matt? (talk) 03:00, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
No, perhaps not... But I could be persuaded either way. --DorianGray 03:03, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
I think it should be included. It is a mention of bacon. And even though he may not have been directly talking about the food, the word bacon in the expression "bring home the bacon" is reffering to the meat. Like "putting food on the table."--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 03:34, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
How is this a running gag? It's just bacon. Bacon isn't a running gag on other shows that have bacon in them, why should it be here? — 116.240.176.9 (Talk | contribs) 22:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC) (left unsigned)
This is a running gag, it appears so many times, that we need an article like this. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 23:21, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
