[edit] Dangeresque Too/Cool Things

Now that I look at the Dangeresque glasses and the yella paint glasses side by side, I can definately tell that they are very similar, if not the exact same pair.--Martin925 03:08, 31 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Does the fact that Kanye West wore these glasses in his "Stronger" video count as a real-world reference? See the Wikipedia article on the song for more info and, say, this guy for visual confirmation.

To me it always looked like they were formed out of paint, and neverr were shades. I mean, Bubs didn't stick something in the cans.

[edit] Sunglasses

Since so many appearances of sunglasses unworn by Homestar have occured, I request a move to "Sunglasses", which currently redirects here. SaltyTalk! 22:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree - there are actually more occurrences (now) of other characters wearing shades/sunglasses than with Homestar that it makes little sense for this to be a Homestar-specific article.
Though, I have to ask, are sunglasses really all that noteworthy? They may not appear in every toon, but they don't exactly stand out as unique, universe-defining items, outside of more specific contexts like Dangeresque and Cool Things. And in those cases, the shades are properly called out in the appropriate articles. (Also, there is a connection to Lack of Visible Arms#Ears, in that shades seem to be held on the characters' faces despite not having visible ears.) I'm wondering if this article is really necessary, and if sunglasses are really a "running gag" at all. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 06:30, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

This is just a general wonderment, but since this category is titled "Homestar's Shades", shouldn't "keep cool" be removed from the list, since Strong Bad is the only one wearing shades in that toon? Unless I'm missing something...--NoMayonnaise 23:12, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Shouldn't this just be a redirect to cool shades? They seem to be the same thing, aside from this one only talks about when ol' stramy wears em. DeFender1031 22:52, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't have a problem with merging the content and redirecting the page. (This page predates that page by over a year, so that's probably why it wasn't set up like that to begin with.) — It's dot com 15:53, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] You need more classes?

With the addition of Main Page 24, I was thinking about the times that eye glasses (not just Cool Shades) have appeared. Rather than creating a new page, it would seem logical to expand this page to cover all sorts of eye wear. Any thoughts on this? wbwolf (t | ed) 15:17, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
