What is the point of this? --Sam Goldfish 22:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Try hitting the What Links Here? link - it reveals Talk:Main Page. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Why not just redirect to Main Page? --Sam Goldfish 22:22, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
If you look on Talk:Main Page, you'll see that they're debating whether or not the Main Page should be titled Main Page or Homestar Runner Wiki. If it was titled HRWiki, this page would be the Main Page, and the Main Page would redirect here. SaltyTalk! 22:24, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Funny!!!

Haha. This is almost as good as last year. Wonder what the site's gonna do? P.S. love the not logged code!

[edit] april fools

H*R didn't have an april fools thing this year :(

i no.Im a bell 00:26, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

No, they did. Just look carefully. --Gooblies 02:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

...Uh, no...I'm pretty sure there's no prank. If there is, give us a hint. Please. --Color Printer 02:10, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm not seeing anything, either. Kinda disappointing. :( -- Nevadie 02:54, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
April Fools. --Gooblies 22:45, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] It's about time we delete this...

We should delete this page now, or at least make it a redirect. I saw this page a few minutes ago when I was hitting the random button. Homestar-Winner (talk) 20:54, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

It's useful if there's big cosmetic changes to the main page, like on April Fool's. --DorianGray 20:58, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Is there any way for you to make it not appear in the Random page option? Homestar-Winner (talk) 21:08, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Why would you want that? — Defender1031*Talk 21:09, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Do you mean why I wouldn't want it in the Random page thingie? It's because this page is exactly like the Main Page. Homestar-Winner (talk) 21:11, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
So? — Defender1031*Talk 21:12, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
The main page also comes up in the randomizer. — Defender1031*Talk 13:40, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page

Do we still need this? TheThin 20:39, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I didn't know where to put this, so I'll put it here...

Why in Homsar can't regular users operate bots?!?!? --Fangoriously 22:36, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

FYI, you'd probably want to put this on Talk:Main Page or HRWiki talk:FAQ. As for regular users operating bots: Can you picture the pandemonium? If a user was fluent enough in code to even operate one correctly, they could cause mass destruction based on how they use it. No, it's best to let the professionals hold the reigns on that one. —Guard Duck talk 22:55, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Delete?

I don't really see the point of this. We don't need two main pages that always look exactly the same. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 00:32, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

Think of this page as an alias of the main page. It might not have much of a point, but there's no pressing reason to delete it. — It's dot com 01:15, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Except that we could redirect it to Main Page and it would have the same effect. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 02:08, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
That's already addressed elsewhere on this page. — It's dot com 03:04, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
I read it, but the only thing I could find was "It's useful if there's big cosmetic changes to the main page, like on April Fool's." But if a change is made, it affects this page too. Plus, the wiki hasn't done a real April Fools' prank in years. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 03:48, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
A change to how Main Page is displayed would not necessarily affect how Homestar Runner Wiki is displayed. The fact that we haven't done any prank recently has no bearing on whether this page should be altered right now. There is no compelling reason to make any change at this time. — It's dot com 04:47, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Okay then. But... you said a change to Main Page wouldn't necessarily affect this page; what exactly did you mean by that? This page uses {{:Main Page}}, so both pages will always be the same. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 05:52, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
They don't have the exact same name, which means they can be manipulated differently using CSS or other means. — It's dot com 06:10, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
All right. Thanks! Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 06:23, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
