[edit] Keep?
I'm not entirely sure if two more or less passing mentions of "Lazor" make it significant enough for a whole page... Maybe if they make an actual *appearance*, but otherwise, Delete for the time being. -YK 00:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- If we're going to keep any of it, it needs to just be in the Fast Forward of band names. Delete. --Onamuji (b/w T. C. ) 03:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I think it's clear that Bigg Nife does not deserve and article, however Taranchula and Limozeen do, so we need to establish where the line is to determine on which side of that line Lazor falls. For my money, I would say that the line lies in existing on the same plane of reality as the main characters, instead of simply as a suggestion from band names. So if that is the line. as I would propose, than this page is a candidate for Keep — Flashfight 04:40, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the big difference I can see is that both Limozeen and Taranchula have made actual appearances. "Lazor", however, has not. It's just been mentioned... and only twice, that I can see. (Where'd someone get that they originated in theme party, though? I saw nothing referencing them there...) I agree that they're very likely to appear again... but I think it's best to wait until they *do* before giving them an article, considering we know close to zero *about* them. (Besides which, "Bigg Nife" *does* have an article... kinda. -YK 06:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm on the fence here. On one side, it's mentioned as a "real" band in the Homestar Universe, as things that Strong Bad made up tend to. On the other side, it hasn't appeared/heard yet. If I'm not mistaken, we only made the Traranchula page only after they appeared in the Strong Bad CD. As far as these things go, if they were referenced once, you can bet that they are going to be again. In a few months/weeks you can expect a Lazor song. Seeing this trend, I don't mind to have this little, two-line article as a place-holder. But get rid on the infobox. I hate when it's just a bunch on "Unknown"s. In short: Keep. - omg sign ur posts dood lol (Sorry. Couldn't resist. =P) -YK 06:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

- Also, I would like to forward the support coming from MBD123 and Haldo expressed on Limozeen Live talk for the creation of this page; since they've already expressed their opinions. — Flashfight 13:51, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think we should keep it, its worth something right Waluigi95
- I'm with Onamuji -- Delete and move info to FF of Band Names.Scanna 06:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Bigg Nife has had a mention in Baddest of the Bands, so can IT have a page? --SBE-mail Checker Dan 23:23, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Some Cleanup Things
Just a few thing this page desperately needs:
- A Picture. Could someone with the technical know-how kindly upload and insert something relevant. Maybe the index card with the bands logo?
- Genre. However inaccurate the sounds accompanying the index card is, but since we have nothing else, could someone identify what genre they would be...I went with metal based on my limited knowledge of musical styles.
- Expansion of Prose. Something I'll probably get to tomorrow, but it's been a long day and anyone else who wants to take a crack at it is encouraged.
—Flashfight 06:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Index card added. I wasn't sure whether it would look better to crop it closer or not.. I thought that maybe it was best to show the whole card, but not sure. -- Mithent 23:18, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Crush? Guitarist?
A while ago someone added that Crush was the guitarist. Is there any evidence to actually support this preposterous hypothesis? Flashfight
- It's been a week, I'm taking it out. If there is any evidence to support this, please let me know. Flashfight 05:47, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- The popup that mentions Crush giving Larry his hat in Limozeen Live! reads "Larry got this hat from the LAZOR guitarist 'Crush'". -- Mithent
- Thanks alot, I must have missed that...thanks, I'll re-add it if no one has. Flashfight 19:10, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Metal?
Is there any way we can know for sure what Lazor's genre is? I saw someone had put "Metal", but I think that it was just a guess. Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I added it, based off of the 4 notes or so played after the card was displayed in band names. It was my guess based on that, but if you noticed in my cleanup talk above, I really wish someone else could take a crack at figgering the genre. Flashfight 00:49, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
