[edit] Notability

While I do find it sort of interesting regarding a particular technology in relation to the website, do we really need a wiki page about it? It seems like it would fall outside of the scope of the purpose of this wiki, and might, in abbreviated form, might work better elsewhere? wbwolf (t | ed) 22:09, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think the content should be deleted, maybe moved or merged. ColdReactive 22:26, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Nah, I vote for Site Components. ColdReactive 23:28, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
I think it would fit better on the Message Bored page, since it's directly related to the how that was run. I don't think Site Components quite work, since that is simply a list and MivaScript is no longer an active part of the site. wbwolf (t | ed) 00:11, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
The real problem with this article is that most people (myself included) have no idea what this article is talking about. You can read the words, but they are completely meaningless to anyone who doesn't have extensive knowledge of scripting technology. This subject is really too niche to have an entire article, but a section on Message Board might be suitable. – The Chort 13:03, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, The Chort. I didn't really think about putting it into plain English, nor is putting technological things into plain English my strong suit. I will try and put it into more understandable terms later. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 21:46, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
It might also fit on homestarrunner.com. — It's dot com 21:37, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
I suppose, but to me it would still seem a little out-of-place. Especially since thoraxcorp.com used MivaScript, too. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 23:59, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
