[edit] Remember 7.50?

We just recently deleted an article because it only has two references. Either I need to clear my cache or this only has two references as well. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 02:11, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

We require three appearances for a running gag. Pistols For Pandas is an organization, so it can have an article at any point we decide it's notable enough to have one, regardless of its total number of appearances. — It's dot com 02:23, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, thanks, I didn't know (that's why I'm not a sysop right there). --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 02:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Source of the joke

"A panda eats, shoots, and leaves" (get it? remove the commas)

[edit] The Right to Arm Bears?

Could PFP be a reference to this skewed version of the second amendment? Just a random, kinda weird thought. — FunnyLookingKid (Talk | contribs) 11:05, 14 April 2007 (left unsigned)

I agree with you — that should probably be a fun fact here. Trey56 11:06, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Oooh! How did we not notice? Well spotted :-) Loafing 11:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Despite how hilarious that is, I see no connection other than that. Neutral. Jellote 21:39, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Abbreviation?

Why does this article refer to the abbreviation as P4P, when the only time this is mentioned is the channel ID for the toon? PFP, however, is right on the logo, so I think it would make sense for that to be the official abbreviation, and replace any use of "P4P" in this article.--184.56.41.112 14:35, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes. It was changed several months ago and idk why. but i just changed it back to PFP b/c you're exactly right; the toons menu is the only place "P4P" ever happens. PFP already redirects here. I think the only reason they chose P4P for the toons menu is b/c "pistols4pandas" is the url. Crack Stuntman does say "P-for-P" once, and he emphasizes "for" so much that it's debatable that he might have said "P4P", but everywhere else it's abbreviated "PFP".
