[edit] Character Links

Wouldn't it look better to have the only links for each character in the table, rather than text? Not meaning to be fussy or anything, just an opinion. DumbMuscle 14:10, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

From the Standards, "Long tables and lists, however, can contain a link at every instance." I agree, it would probably look better to add links to the table... --phlip TC 14:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What's up?

What's up with this email being so different from all the others? Let's follow the format. Get a transcript on there. And Easter Eggs and Inside References and stuff.

The actual email transcript and such is at secret identities (note lowercase, like most email names). --phlip TC 01:36, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Note also the disambiguation sentences atop the page. They will also direct you to the toon. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 01:41, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Night of the Inspiration

Should I note that 'Mr. Five Freddy' sounds a lot like/could have inspired the name of the famous PC/Mac horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's? 98.159.29.164 23:07, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Unlikely. Though you could contact Scott Cawthon to see if he responds. - Catjaz63 23:13, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
It's irrelevant to this wiki either way. The H*R reference came from a real life person's stage name and predates the game by a lot. If the game was making a deliberate reference, it's more likely to the man, not a brief text-only joke in a H*R cartoon. --Senorial Jay (Convolutions) 23:13, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
ANd even if it WERE a reference to a brief text-only joke in a H*R cartoon, at most it would count as a sighting. — Defender1031*Talk 09:53, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Alternate theory on the identity of “Mr. Boyardee.”

I would like to posit that the character using the pseudonym of “Mr. Boyardee” is not in fact the King of Town, despite the name being food related or by accepting that the “king” in “king size bed” is an indicator of identity. Rather, I believe the character checking in under the name of “Mr. Boyardee” to be Strong Mad, as he was referred to as “Chef Boyardee” by Strong Bad in Sbemail 142, “Secret Identity” for his macaroni art. The KOT, while usually associated with food related gags, has never been correlated with Chef Boyardee (as far as I can tell from the site and also this Wiki). Also, with Strong Mad being “Like a big Square” (as Strong Bad describes him in Sbemail 114, “The Facts”) and measuring in at 88” W x 88” H, it becomes clear that the king size bed is the only size bed on which Brother Graw Mad might be able to comfortably rest his body in part as typical king size bed measurements are 76” W x 80” L. I myself have no experience editing on Wiki, so I thought it best to place this thought here and let someone more qualified make the edit should this argument prove convincing. --24.10.134.159 19:58, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

Ok, um, just to start, there is a little grey box in the corner next to the [save page] button, [Show preview], which will... show you... the preview. Anyways, the context clues planted by the brothers chaps, (food reference, king,) are there on purpose. I don't think misdirection was on their mind making the cartoon (besides the poopsmith/sb combo). Also, just because a reference was made doesn't mean anything really. Are we to believe that Tenerence love is the king of town just because both like ham? Anyways, there's also a button between the dash and ignore wiki formatting, called the signature button that you use after you are done writting. Or just type --~~~~ and you will have the sig there. ----J∃ffJMan 15:47, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
I think I understand where you are coming from in terms of my title for this entry, and I do believe I misused the term “red herring,” so I have altered the title of this entry. What I meant by it was that everyone assumes that everything food related is always the King of Town, but I believe there is enough evidence to call the association already made on this page in to question. Already learned about the preview button, but I appreciate the explanation of the signature button. --24.10.134.159 19:58, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
All i was saying was that um, maybe not to be putting six edits in a row. Best to not clog the recent changes up if necessary ----J∃ffJMan 15:05, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
