[edit] Length of "AAAHHHH!"
When Strong Bad freaks out, does "AAAAHHHH!!!" have to be so long?—StrongstarRunbad 19:59, 4 Oct 2004 (MST)
[edit] Fhqwhgads
Should there be fun facts or something linking back to "i love you" and Everybody to the Limit? Or are those too obvious?
Maybe just a link to Fhqwhgads?--ninja pirate 19:58, 1 Dec 2004 (MST)
[edit] Wrestleman?
I just updated the FF about Strong Bad's attack on the radio, and wondered: is this the only time to date where we've seen him actually perform wrestling moves? We've seen him kick and punch enough, but I can't think of any actions indicative of a wrestleman before this.
And if anyone wants to move that FF from 'Real World References' to another category, be my guest (it must have been there because of the previous WWE comment - if people only realized things existed before a week ago...) --BaconSandwich 02:39, 18 Feb 2005 (MST)
[edit] Clever Dan?
Why Clever Dan? I heard it as "look who thinks he's clever, then." -- 195.144.131.12 05:54, 21 Feb 2005 (MST)
- That doesn't really make very much sense. Also, I've always heard "Clever Dan" when I listen to it. →evin290
- ___ Dan is a running joke on the site; you see a couple references to it in the Trogdor game, for example. There are a couple other spots, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.--Big Dog 11:58, 15 Mar 2005 (MST)
While Strong Bad is sitting on the couch, he should hear a thing like, a howler monkey, as seen on this link. This is gonna be a real funny thing! :) --80.217.162.254 11:55, 18 Mar 2005 (MST) Maudi Algabban
What are you talking about, number guy? It's some French newsfeed...I'm confused...--Jimmy Jammies 17:28, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Where's the DVD commentary transcript?
Well? -Some IP Address
The email doesn't have commentary. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 21:01, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Talking toaster or toadstool
At the end of the email, is Homestar saying "I've had it with that talking toaster" or "talking toadstool"? I sounds to me like he's saying "toadstool". --Sonicstar Runner 17:47, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- What is a toadstool? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:52, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- A toadstool is a type of mushroom. --Sonicstar Runner 17:56, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- You know, like the mushroom princess, Princess Toadstool. — It's dot com

- Because we're talking about the difference between a toaster and a mushroom, I maintain that Homestar said "toaster" - keep in mind that a lot of times, Homestar's "er" pronunciation comes out more like "ul" ("Oh hello! I'm Homestaw Runnul!") - KieferSkunk 17:58, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- Homestar is referring to the radio. It makes more sense that he would confuse another appliance with it and say "toaster" rather than call it a mushroom. — It's dot com 18:03, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- Then again, Homestar has been known to confuse a popcorn popper with a soldier (and a microwave with the soldier's mother). ;) - KieferSkunk 18:07, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- Yup. This should prove Dot Com's point, as both are appliances. —AbdiViklas 05:31, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
- (I think he was winking.) ;) — It's dot com
- My point was that Homestar, in his own mind, turned common household appliances into living beings. He could also turn a radio into a mushroom - his mind might just be that strange. :) But I'm sticking with Toaster in this case. - KieferSkunk 18:39, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

- Toaster. Definitely saying toaster. And on top of that, anyone think this might be a reference to Talkie Toaster, from Red Dwarf? Or just wishful thinking on my part? HeWhoYerfs 12:46, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Song: about skippy?
When the scene cuts from Strong Bad's screen closeup to the wide shot with the Cheat's keyboard, it always sounds to me like the beat skips just a bit. I can't tell without running it through some kind of voice-removing program. Does anyone else notice? - [User:Octan|Octan] Jan 24 06, 9:02PM EST
[edit] About the song...
How did you think both of Strong Bad's "Sibbie" songs came out so quick?
- Sounds like an excellent question to discuss in the Forum. - Qermaq - (T/C) 20:50, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Short answer: It's a joke. Long answer: It is a joke. --Jnelson09 19:57, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Douglas?
I don't think he was saying Douglas. I thought it was more like
FUGGWADS!
Which makes sense.
- No it doesn't. Because then it would be wrong. It's fuh-hoo-gah-wads. trlkly 06:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fubugrass
I hear fugugrass not fubugrass. Any comments? - Austio talk 02:33, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- hello does anyone hear fugugrass too? - Austio talk 02:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- I hear "fubugrass," but it's pretty indestinct. - The Joe(Talk) 02:22, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you put your ear to the speaker you hear "fugugrass". I now hear fugugrass now. Try it. Put your ear to the speaker. TheYellowDart—(t/c)

[edit] "My focus is all... crocused"
- I always thought he was saying "Krokused" in reference to the Swiss metal band. Danny Lilithborne 01:47, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm, I would have assumed it was just the word "crocus", like, the flower. Is there a particular reason you think this is referring to the band? Heimstern Läufer 08:17, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, it's a metal band, SB likes metal bands, and he probably doesn't like flowers. ^_^ Danny Lilithborne 08:26, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Not really convinced that's enough to make it a likely reference. Heimstern Läufer 08:29, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, you can revert my bold change if you want. :) It's not something I make a big deal out of; I just always thought SB said "krokused". Too bad he didn't type that. ^_^ Danny Lilithborne 08:38, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

I would probably spell it "croakused" or something.. --61.68.166.156 13:45, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Mmm, yeah. It should be more croak'us'd - soundwise at least. Like someone who croaked (death) x_x
- It seems that despite this talk thread and the total lack of indication that he's saying anything other than "crocus" (which would be the usual rhymed phrase running gag), references to the band in this email got added all over the wiki at some point. I've gone and removed them all, as there's no reason whatsoever to believe he's referring to the band. — Defender1031*Talk 17:00, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
[edit] Stongbad.exe
Yeah, whoever put this up there.. shouldn't it be in a 'Fixed Goof' section, instead of 'Trivia'?
"When this email was first released, Strong Bad had typed "stongbad_email.exe" as in the previous email, with no ill effects. This error was corrected about a year later."
--61.68.166.156 13:50, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Purple Line
When Strong Bad yells at The Cheat for playing the beat there is a purple stripe going down his leg. Should this go in Goofs? -Soniku64
- I don't think that's a goof. He just has very noticable shading on his pants. --DorianGray 08:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] What the?
People, look at this. I was just browsing the wayback machine and it came up with this. What the heck? Click on intro and it has part of the easter egg to this toon. Only it spells fhqwhgads in a different font. That's weird.... The Pony man 23:05, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Talkie the Toaster
One of the running gags on the show Red Dwarf is an annoying toaster that keeps talking about bread products, even when the other characters tell it to shut up. I believe it is entirely possible that Homestar's remark about the talking toaster may be a reference to this character.
