Template talk:blockwarning

[edit] A Strong Badian Stop Sign
I think it would go well on this site to have a branded Strong Badian Stop Sign as the "STOP" sign for blocking / warning templates. I know my initial upload isn't the greatest cropping job, but it looks OK on dark or colored backgrounds.

What do you folks think about this idea? LobStoR 00:21, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- I like it the idea. It is more unique to the H*R universe. On the other hand, this template is more serious than others, so maybe using a comedic image isn't a good idea. I dunno. --Jellote wuz here 15:08, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with the second part of what jellote said, namely, that this is a serious template and should reflect that. It's okay to use cutesy H*R stuff on notice templates which aren't trying to get a serious message across, but not here. — Defender1031*Talk 15:14, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- (ec) I'm going to have to agree with Jellote's concerns toward the end of his post. Normally, I'm all for fun HR-like images, but since this template is a warning for blatant vandals (whom we don't want to give the impression that what they're doing is considered fun), I don't think it's appropriate in this case. - Heim is right. Great idea though! -Espe Pwnage 21:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't really find this idea less serious than it is more Homestar Runner themed. But, do as you wish. —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 22:03, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
