Crudely Drawn Cupcake, if you want to make your user page better, I suggest you put on something about yourself, your favourite quotes, and anytheing else interesting about yourself. Also, these Userboxes can be very useful in having a quick laugh or showing who you are. Also, if you are not sure of how your User Page will look when you are done editing, use the Show Preview button next to the save page button.
