[edit] (Archived) Invitation to Register

Hi, there, I notice that you've been making many contributions over the past week. You may want to consider registering an account, as there are many benefits to this. In your case, it would probably be particularly beneficial in discussions on talk pages, which you seem to be involved in often, since the opinions of registered users tend to carry more weight. [edit] Welcome to HRWiki

Hey, glad to see you decided to join us as a registered user! I also like your choice of name: from possibly the most famous email ever, yet from a more obscure element of the email. Well, welcome to being a full member of our wiki, and if you need anything, you can always stop by my talk page. Heimstern Läufer 07:24, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of sic

sorry, didn't even notice that you had changed something else... — Defender1031*Talk 21:17, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] little question

just wondering... why did you choose to leave your user page blank? HaldoHelscome!

*shrug* no reason. -DAGRON 06:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Recurring Themes

Hi DAGRON. I'm not going to revert this edit, but I think we better discuss what is a recurring theme before we go into a category-changing rampage. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 09:14, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

*shrug* You can revert it if ya want, but the distinction between recurring theme and running gag seems pretty self-evident to me. A running gag is, y'know, a gag. -DAGRON 09:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, and a theme is a theme. :P Anyways, thanks for understanding. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:00, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cereal Pictures

What do you call someone who uploads about a zillion pictures for this page? A cereal uploader! Hahahahahaha, okay i'm not funny, but good job anyway. — Defender1031*Talk 03:16, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Little did you know that I have an unhealthy affection for terrible puns. -DAGRON 03:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the work! A little reminder: this edit summary makes sense in RC, but doesn't make sense in the page history. Don't forget to write edit summaries that make sense in both contexts. Thanks! Heimstern Läufer 03:21, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, what you say is true. My apologies. I shall try to not make that mistake in the future. -DAGRON 03:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Is not a big deal, it just makes things a bit better. Keep on tranglin', Heimstern Läufer 03:33, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] A kind request

Hey there DAGRON. You're one excellent user, and I always enjoy seeing what you edit. How about we get to know you a bit better? You don't have to make a user page, but I just wanted to let you know there is a precedent of peer-pressure concerning user page creation ;). Just kidding. But now, there are some psychological things that should be considered when seeing a red-linked user contributing heavily. It could be a one-time thing, or gosh forbid, a vandal. Now, all of us know that you are an awesome user and you help a lot (you really do!) and we want you to be more part of the community, and the first step for that is userpage creation. So what you say? :) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 12:02, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your encouraging words (I get anxious when I see someone post on this page; usually it means the user has done something wrong). I will consider making a userpage so you know that I'm not a vandal. (kidding).
Though I will miss the redlinked name. Red's my favorite color, don't you know. -DAGRON 06:20, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
You could always do it like this! Trey56 06:27, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Or, more specifically, like this! OptimisticFool 07:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC) (if you're partial to that particular shade -- though Recent Changes and page histories will (regrettably?) display your name in blue...)
Aw, blue is the new red! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 08:59, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
I'd also like to chime in here and pretty much echo what everyone else has already said. I'm looking forward to a blue link here (though I completely understand the desire to keep it red). — It's dot com 00:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again for the support from all who are encouraging me to make a userpage. I haven't forgot about it. I intend to work on it as soon as I get a moment. -DAGRON 20:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sig

Hey there, DAGRON. I like where you're going with your signature, but before you get too far with that image, there's a couple of things I thought I'd point out from HRWiki:Signature: "Your signature must include a text version of your username, with a link to your user page" and "A background other than white is strongly discouraged, and any such background must be confined to the immediate text area." Hopefully you can find a way to reconcile your current idea with the above. Keep on tranglin'! — It's dot com 00:09, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, yeah, the points you make are reasonable. I'll give some thought to how to reconcile these issues. In the meantime, I guess I can open it up to any suggestions others might have for my sig. -DAGRON 20:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
