[edit] Inappropriate Language

Homestar, please be advised that this Wiki does not allow the use of any obscene or inappropriate language in any of the pages, including the Sandbox. You may consult this page for editing guidelines, this page for more information, or ask an administrator or an experienced user for information. Please be advised that using obscene language may result in an administrator revoking your editing priviledges. Thanks. --Stux 00:49, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Um... on the other hand, I noticed your edit and was simply going to delete it without comment. After all, you had been presented the Sandbox as a place to mess around, and it would be regrettable to scare you off after your first edit. Stux is right though; we try to keep it appropriate for any age. Anyways, welcome to the wiki! —AbdiViklas 00:57, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
Abdi is right, we don't want to scare you off the wiki on your first edits. Just be mindful of the rules and guidelines of our community. I too welcome you to the wiki. Don't be discouraged, it can take some time to get used to things around here. --Stux 02:35, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] name change

Hi there Homestar. I hate to tell you this, but the log in/log out screen says that you should avoide choosing names that are characters. You can keep this name, but I warn you, some people may get mad at you. You can change it here. — talk Bubsty edits 22:22, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

You do need to change you username, I'm afraid. You can select something that's close to a character name as long as it isn't the exact name of a main character. Thanks. — It's dot com 22:57, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
But what about Sir Strong Bad?? Should he change his name?-- Benol, aka Coach B 23:00, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Old-timey characters are not the same as main characters, so no. — It's dot com 23:31, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

Hello Homestar. I was wondering whether you had had a chance to read the comments above and what your thoughts are on the subject. — It's dot com 20:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
