Hey Tim. It's a goal of mine to make the STUFF instructions as easy as possible for everyone to understand, and so I'm interested in your feedback: Were my instructions on Jay's page helpful? I know you haven't had another chance to STUFF a fact yourself, but you can use the sandbox to test things in the meantime if you want. Hey Tim. It's Dot com again. I think you've got a good fact over at STUFF, but I wanted to discuss the revision a little. The quote is "a free cup of ice with purchase of a deluxe cup of ice of equal or lesser value."

• If Bubs is not willing to give a deluxe cup as the free cup of ice, then he doesn't ever have to honor the offer, which is what your original wording says.
• On the other hand, if you buy a deluxe cup and Bubs is willing to give a deluxe cup as your free cup of ice, then the offer works, because the cups are of equal value. It's the only way the offer would work, and so that's what the revision says.

Do I think Bubs would give a deluxe cup as the free cup? No, I don't. After all, this is the guy who charges you five dollars just for saying thank you after you buy something. But I can't know that for sure. The revision takes both of the above possibilities into consideration, which is why I support the revision. — It's dot com 15:27, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Yes, I agree with you. i didn't at first when i was looking over STUFF this morning, but I misunderstood, that's why i reverted my own edits. Sorry about the confusion. Ju Ju Master

I went ahead and removed the extra bit you added to the revision. The main reason was that it added unnecessary speculation. Also, minor wording and spelling fixes are allowed, but you can't make such substantial additions or alterations to an item as that.

The instructions state that only the bottommost accept vote counts, so I have removed the upper one. Please review my edits and make any fixes, if necessary. I'm sorry for any confusion. Overall, this was a good catch! Good prize! If it's accepted (which my early guess is that it will be), then you'll deserve combolations for finding it. — It's dot com 19:41, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hey Ju Ju Master. I deleted most of the images you marked for deletion, but there are still two (Fly Bubs Stand and tonystony) that are linked to your page. I just wanted to point that out, because once they're deleted, they will show up as broken links. I'll hold off on deleting them for a minute to give you a chance to make any adjustments.   • Everyone who ever created a user name is in that log, or at least they have been since the log was created. Only the admin team (not ordinary sysops like me) can remove their names entirely. --Jay (Talk) 02:22, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

He was a sockpuppet of Willy on Wheels. If you aren't aware, he's an infamous vandal who often creates accounts that are some variation on that name "Willy on Wheels". Needless to say, we don't want to give him a welcome. BTW, if you are using the user creation log to find out who hasn't been welcomed, you may want to first make sure the user you're welcoming hasn't already been blocked. Hope that helps.
