[edit] Using Show Preview

Hello Kid2255, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031Talk 16:34, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

My bad. I know what I'm doing, I just copied my sig from another wik,i but my names different there and I have a horrible memory. Kid2255 Talk 16:35, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

DOH!

[edit] Welcome!

Hey Kid2255. Welcome to the Homestar Runner Wiki! I took the liberty of creating a page for your signature, and I cleaned up the code a little bit. (We like to keep formatted signatures contained on a user subpage to that individual talk pages stay tidy.) Let me know if you have any questions. Talk atcha later! — It's dot com 17:06, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Mmkahy. Thanks. Kid2255 Talk 17:09, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Deleting your sig page?

Can some one delete User:Kid2255/sig for me? I dont need it. Kid2255 Talk 00:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes you do, you're using it in your post right there. Also, please use the + button at the top for new posts, it will place them at the bottom instead of the top. thanks. — Defender1031Talk 04:12, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
1. Ok with the +, didn't know that. 2. Er.. Its dot com made me a page to test it on.. and I don't really need it.
Copied it off the page, NOW I don't need it. Kid2255 Talk 23:19, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

You do know that if you delete your sig subpage, then you won't have a signature anymore? You really want to delete it? —Guard Duck talk 01:27, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I copied the sig in my settings...Kid2255 Talk 01:30, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Alright, I give, I just got rid of the link.
Actually, it's preferred to have your sig on a sig page and template it, like dot com set up for you to do. Firstly, it ensures that if you change your sig, it changes everywhere. Secondly, you already have a few templated sigs floating around, and thirdly, it looks a lot nicer in the code ("{{User:Kid2255/sig}}" as opposed to "[[User:Kid2255|<font color="green">Kid2255</font>]] [[User talk:Kid2255|<font color="green">Talk</font>]]"). I mean, can you imagine MY sig appearing without a template? I've got a gradient and automatic changes based on the date... — Defender1031Talk 03:44, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Good point.. Fine, I'll change it.. again.Kid2255 Talk 20:44, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
