[edit] User page

Hey TheNicestGuy. You seem like a pretty nice guy. I notice you've been around for a bit, but you only have the barest of user pages. Well, I think it's high time you did something about that. :) — It's dot com 17:47, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi when is last time you came on? It has been awile I thingk. Right? --TheThin 13:48, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

No, actually, I frequent the wiki entirely too much. See my contributions. --TheNicestGuy 14:14, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] TheCoolestGuy

Holy Cow! My wikitendance has been kind of sparse since February, and I've missed the arrival of several outstanding additions to the community; you seem to be one of these. (Perhaps I'm just partial to people with adept vocabularies and no fear of long posts; this one looks like one of mine!) You seem like a great person to have around, and I'm glad you're lending your skills. —AbdiViklas 02:01, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Why thank you, Mr. Viklas. Nice to realize there are people who actually like the inordinately gratuitous quantity of adverbs I often generally include usually. I appreciate your grandiloquent ramblings as well, although I must admit that I don't always cough have time to read them. Keep on wikin'... uh, wiki'ng... wik... There's a squid. --TheNicestGuy 14:28, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You Like Japan?

Wow! Japan's like my favorite country! I get to go there this summer after school ends. I'm trying to learn the language and I draw manga and I like the history. How'd you get to "expertise" status in that field? -Brightstar Shiner 00:55, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Well, "expertise" might be overstating it a bit. I also visited Japan (mostly Sendai) just after I graduated from college, where I'd taken two semesters of the language. I'm not fluent, but I would at least call myself learned. Other than that, I've just been studying the culture and history fairly heavily for many years. My girlfriend and I have plans to live there, at least for a few years, in the foreseeable future. --TheNicestGuy 03:55, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
That is quite awesome. I wish I could live there, but I'm a little young for that. 7th grade is not the time to be moving. :) -Brightstar Shiner 21:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
頑張って! --TheNicestGuy 21:20, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Weclome back

Hey TheNicestGuy. I'm very much enjoying your comments on trademarks, but more than that I'm pleased to see that you've returned to us after a lengthy hiatus. Huzzah! — It's dot com 05:34, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I thought your posts were insightful — thanks for the good read! Keep it up — we can definitely use your input on our talk pages :) Trey56 05:36, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, thank you. I figured I would be talking to a wall since the trademark issue is months old, but I felt like the anecdotes belonged there anyway for posterity. I may not be able to contribute as much as I used to these days, but I'll keep my eyes open. --TheNicestGuy 14:50, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
